The Beautiful Him

Dodder refers to someone who lives by depending on others, unable to survive independently. Oniwa Yazo is just such a person. [Golden Cage] A Queen kept and raised by the Top Killer, living in a gilded house built of gold and jade. Gifted at deciphering, planning, and providing support, she is used by Gin alone. At some point, the black strands tangled in Gin’s waterfall of golden hair disappeared for good. Vermouth asked with a laugh, “Gin, where’s your kitten? Did it run away?” He gave a scoff. She’d just run away from home. He clipped his cigar and thought nonchalantly: A pampered house cat with delicate skin. Where could she go except back to her golden cage? Like a timid mouse, she’d only had a brief urge to flee. In the end, she’d come meekly back to the cage. A house cat raised in captivity can’t escape its owner’s grasp. [Shadowy Chains] When I saw him again, he was still the same timid person who didn’t know how to say no. His reddened eyes forced a smile as he sat on a filthy cushion in an izakaya, wearing another man’s clothes and knocking back drink after drink. Doesn’t know how to say no? The dark feelings in my heart grew wildly. Then why say no to me and Matsuda? Why run away from us? So I asked him, “Do you know what Matsuda’s face looked like when he found out you’d made the cut, called you with excitement in his eyes, and heard that the number was disconnected?” Just as I thought, you look ready to cry from shame, A-Ye. If these dark feelings could become chains, wrapping tightly around you and keeping you by my side so you could never escape, why shouldn’t I do it? If you’re bad at saying no, then being a little forceful is fine, right? No, no, Kenji can’t do that. I patted my cheeks in the mirror and put on my usual gentle smile. Be patient. I absolutely mustn’t scare A-Ye away. [Flesh and Blood Furnace] Matsuda had an upperclassman: slender and clever, with extraordinary powers of deduction and sensitive, nervous dispositions. He didn’t like men like that. They were too frail. He only had to scold him once or twice before he looked ready to burst into tears. What did it feel like to see him looking like that? It was as if ten thousand ants were crawling around in his heart. He was furious watching him become the victim of one case after another, the target of a homicidal maniac; watching him laugh nervously and carefully, forcing himself to accept unreasonable demands he didn’t want to agree to at all. If you don’t want to say no, let me do it for you! He’d shouted that more than once, only to see the other man’s weak, ingratiating smile as he said, “Sure, sure,” still paying no heed to his own safety. He ground his teeth viciously, looking as if he were devouring and gnawing at flesh. If he couldn’t protect himself... (This story has no outline. I’ll add details when new characters appear.) This is the story of a male dodder who moves from one keeper to another. The worlds involved include Detective Conan, My Beautiful Man, Naruto, and Bungo Stray Dogs, among others. Warnings, warnings, warnings: 1. Yazo is Oniwa Yazo, the protagonist of No Longer Human. 2. The male protagonist is a weak, dependent dodder who lives by relying on others. 3. This is a fan-favorite, dark and clingy story with a strong subby vibe. The characters will be seriously out of character. Enter at your own risk! 4. No pairing polls; each route has its own ending. 5. This story is very self-indulgent, very subby, and very cat-coded. If that’s not your thing, please don’t click in. Seriously!
