Synopsis: Xu Congwei has one regret:

The boy who will be forever eighteen, Chen Xu.

He died saving her, but his death was shrouded in mystery, and no one ever cleared his name. Whenever people brought him up, they could only sigh and say he had been a genius taken too soon.

Xu Congwei wants to save him!

Carrying that regret, Xu Congwei returns to high school.

She sheds her timid, rule-abiding ways, approaches Chen Xu first, and chases him all over town.

In her previous life, people described Chen Xu as fierce and cold. His cause of death was unknown, and the word they used for him was "tragic."

But Xu Congwei discovers that none of it is true.

Chen Xu is a wonderful person.

So how could someone so wonderful have died under such mysterious circumstances?

The longer Xu Congwei spends with him, the more sorry she feels for him. This time, she swears they will avoid disaster!

Chen Xu has a secret crush on Xu Congwei, but he realizes she isn't the same as before.

He is rational and calm. He finds her strange, yet even as he remains clearheaded, he falls for her.

In the surging crowd, Chen Xu instinctively dodges the person about to bump into him. But once he sees who it is, he changes his mind.

He catches Xu Congwei as she nearly falls, pulling her into his arms. Then, pretending to be stern, he says:

"Watch your step."

Countless times afterward, Xu Congwei pulls the same trick, calling out before leaping down from a high platform: "Chen Xu, come catch me!"

Chen Xu: "I'm coming. I'll catch you."
