[Flirtatious, gentle beauty x aloof, frail younger man]

Ruan Zhiyu fell in love with Shen Huizhou at first sight, and pursued him with all her heart.

Shen Huizhou attended the same school as her. He was a new student in the psychology department who had taken a leave of absence due to illness, and the younger brother of her friend.

She first met Shen Huizhou before the New Year, with rain falling on his hair.

His slender hands were red from the cold, his lips were colorless, and his pale skin gave him a fragile beauty.

Ruan Zhiyu fell for him at first sight and was consumed by her feelings from then on.

When he was sick, she brought him medicine. When it rained, she brought him an umbrella. Wherever Shen Huizhou was, Ruan Zhiyu was there too...

At a gathering one time,

Shen Huizhou had been drinking. His usually pale face was flushed, and his lips had taken on color. With his red lips and white teeth, he looked especially sweet.

When he saw Ruan Zhiyu, he pushed her hand away and said coldly, "I don't like you!"

Almost everyone at school knew Ruan Zhiyu liked Shen Huizhou, but Shen Huizhou was frail, sickly, aloof, and hard to win over. He rejected her every single time, without exception.

As time passed, no one thought they would ever get together.

Until... Ruan Zhiyu quietly left after graduation, and Shen Huizhou searched for her like a madman.

-

Years later, they met in a cafe.

Ruan Zhiyu was chatting with someone. Whatever they said made her happy, and she smiled with crinkled eyes.

Consumed by jealousy, Shen Huizhou followed her when she went to the restroom.

He looked slender, but he was strong.

He grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall, his eyes red at the corners as he pleaded pitifully, "Sis, give me a chance. I'm better than him."
