[Western Fantasy] Change Your Fate While You Still Can!

When Raven lay in a hospital bed, old and frail, feeling her life ebb away second by second, she thought her life was about to end.

Instead, she unexpectedly gained the ability to possess her past self in her dreams. Using the difference in time and information, she changed her fate and escaped the ordinary life of dying peacefully in old age.

In a Western fantasy world, an ordinary passerby repeatedly brushes against the extraordinary and the mysterious. Given another chance, she changes careers from a materialist detective to an investigator of the occult, and sets out to encounter and become part of the mysteries herself.

“They all told me I had ‘no talent,’ and shut me out of the occult.”

“But who gets to decide what talent is?”

“Whether it's the occult or physics... I want to explore all knowledge, everything unknown, even if it takes my whole life!”

Later, people would not even dare to speak her name aloud.

They called her the “Emperor of Mysteries” and the “Lady of the Black Raven.”

Reading guide:

1. The heroine's name is Raven, so her full name rearranged becomes “Black Raven.”

2. The heroine is gentle and polite with others, and even has a grandmotherly kindness about her (no, really). She isn't the strong-woman stereotype. She will eventually regain a relatively youthful appearance, but will still look like a mature, dependable woman in her forties. The author believes women of this age have a unique charm too, so please be aware.

3. The heroine is gentle and accepting, but won't suffer in silence. She has a hidden streak of madness and a side that will stop at nothing in pursuit of the truth.

4. Includes steampunk, occultism and alchemy from different eras and cultures, as well as plenty of things the author made up and reworked. Professionals, please don't flame me.
