Qiu Qiuli, a third-rate writer, gets mocked and sent blades by readers every day because his novel's plot is so ridiculous and outrageous.
Then one day, his golden finger arrives. The Behind-the-Scenes Mastermind Development System and the Excellent Writer Training System bind to him at the same time. A data error causes them to fuse into an entirely new chimera: the Behind-the-Scenes Mastermind Writing System.
From then on, one small world after another comes into being because of him, opening itself to him and becoming the stage for his stories. With an omniscient perspective, he witnesses the stories unfold, while also serving as the hidden hand behind them...
Worlds unlocked so far:
[The Dawn of Civilization: On Those Who Would Become Gods]
Qiu Qiuli chooses a traveler who is crossing the desert in search of spiritual solace. He has her lead her people to settle in an oasis and build a home, creating the first religion of civilization and nurturing the seeds of an ancient world.
"He is a voice from beyond the heavens, a formless god, the architect of civilization, the protector of humanity."
- Azhena, the desert prophet of myth
[The Mechanical Era: The Blood-Robed Priestess]
Qiu Qiuli guides a destitute girl from the slums, helping her escape her predetermined fate. She goes from being a blood-robed priestess manipulated by an evil god to becoming a blade pointed at the gods, breaking the benighted supremacy of divine authority.
"He is the mentor who showed me the direction of my life's journey. To call him a god is to blaspheme against him. He is the scythe of death at the gods' throats, the twilight of the divine age before dawn."
- Miss Linette, pioneer of the scientific era
[The Thorn Empire: Age of the Tyrant]
Qiu Qiuli looks at the adorable little tyrant with a baby face and an innocent expression. Hearing the violent thoughts in his mind, he smiles.
Kids who never listen and are always causing trouble are usually bored. They just need a good lesson.
"&eyhb@#..."
- Mr. Ilaytemon, the former tyrant who destroyed his country, now a wise ruler, reformed against his will
[The Temporal Fallacy: No One Survives]
He lives through countless lives. The works he writes are called novels, but in truth they are documentary literature.
[Reading Guide]
1. The male lead has psychological issues and is emotionally deficient. His behavior is entirely restrained by outside influences, such as the law or moral standards taught to him by others. He's a bit of a scumbag, but not a criminal or a bad person. Think [Lawful Neutral].
2. The author's writing ability and knowledge are limited. Please don't flame me if you don't like it. Thanks, and feel free to move along.
3. The settings include both Eastern and Western worlds, ancient and modern, with infrastructure building, the Industrial Revolution, mystery and detective cases, and more. Feel free to skip between worlds.
A note about the premise was saved in my drafts on September 30, 2021, with a screenshot.
