The Top Alpha's Secret Beta Ran Away [ABO]

I'm out of ideas for the old premise, so I'm switching to a new one for now. I haven't gotten the blurb together yet.

AB romance

[An absurdly self-confident, peacock-strutting Alpha with pheromone dysregulation x a cool, laid-back Beta enforcer with a cute poker face who says, "Don't die on me"]

More or less: The recipient is a Beta and the powerful Alpha's secret lover. The Alpha thinks they're made for each other and is convinced the Beta is madly in love with him.

The recipient is laid-back and knows his place. He thinks the Alpha is just fooling around with him, and will definitely return to his family someday and marry an Omega. When the time comes, he'll make his escape.

Confident Alpha: Where's my wife? The one I had right here?

A groveling-for-your-lover story, but it doesn't reach the point of a total reckoning. The pursuer is just overconfident and hasn't done anything unforgivable.

Theme: Ordinary people have their own shining qualities in the eyes of others
