Trapped in a Love Triangle with Inhuman Twins

A preview of my upcoming story, That NPC Really Isn't a Damsel in Distress. The blurb is at the very bottom. Blurb: When the war between humans and beasts ends in defeat for the human race, Hua Jianxu volunteers to marry the beastfolk leader in place of his imperial sister and go live among the beastfolk. He has heard that the beastfolk are savage and uncivilized, and like to eat human flesh. Hua Jianxu prepares himself for a miserable life, but gets lucky: the beastfolk leader is a mild-mannered man who says he doesn't like him, yet grants his every wish and dotes on him to no end. They marry first and fall in love later, living in perfect harmony. If you overlook that rebellious younger brother who is always at odds with him, their life is pretty peaceful. But fate is unpredictable, and the leader is killed in battle. By beastfolk custom, the younger brother is entitled to inherit everything his older brother owned. Since the younger brother doesn't like him anyway, Hua Jianxu decides to wander the world with his late husband's belongings. The younger brother, who regards him as a thorn in his side: "My sister-in-law is also my brother's property. By beastfolk custom, she belongs to me too. Don't even think about running away." Only then does Hua Jianxu realize that the younger brother has coveted him for a long time and no longer bothers to hide it now that his brother is dead. Unfortunately, Hua Jianxu has no interest in him. He hates it more than anything when people mistake him for his younger brother, yet the younger brother even goes so far as to pretend to be his older brother in an attempt to win him over. Hua Jianxu is stunned: "Can he really love me that much?" Though the younger brother has a nasty personality, his feelings for Hua Jianxu seem genuine. After a long, tangled relationship with him, Hua Jianxu thinks he might be able to accept him. Just as he's about to accept the younger brother and start another happy life, the dead older brother's soul is reborn in his younger brother's body. Hua Jianxu, caught between them: "Can I ever get a peaceful life?" [First personality: a kind, gentle, courteous, and virtuous good man. He can heal, control the battlefield, shield, and boost damage. With every version update, he remains at the very top in both power and looks, earning him the title of the game's new favorite son. One day, all the NPCs responsible for onboarding new players are under maintenance, and Chi You is drafted at the last minute. He hastily learns hundreds of little skills from different races and, naturally, gets them mixed up. Chi You demonstrates skills and combos for the new player. "Isn't that a skill from another race?" the new player asks hesitantly. He even carefully pulls out the tutorial notes to show Chi You. "And I think you messed up the combo." Chi You: ...His reputation, ruined. Chi You flees the newbie zone overnight, only to get clung to by a powerful newbie who seems to have an imprinting instinct. Newbie: "Want to do a quest together? I learned a new skill. You can just stay behind me." Newbie: "I'll gather herbs for you. This slope is steep. I fell so many times." Newbie: "The dungeon got updated. Don't worry, I just looked up a guide. It doesn't seem that hard." Other people beg and plead for Chi You to join their teams and help them clear dungeons. The newbie goes to great lengths to secure Chi You's help, only to make him a little tail following along automatically. Chi You asks why. The newbie, a big shot, says, "This world is pretty dangerous. You're kind and innocent, and you don't know how to do anything. I'm afraid you'll get bullied." Chi You, labeled a delicate flower (smiling): How can I make him understand that I'm actually really strong? The newbie big shot is caught in an unrequited love with no hope of success, because he's in love with a fictional character. What's more, this character isn't very strong, and the newbie is always worried he won't survive on his own in that perilous game world. He fears that if he leaves for too long, the other guy will be gone in the blink of an eye. Unable to leave without worrying, yet unable to give up on his feelings, the newbie big shot agonizes over it for a long time, then confesses to the one he loves. After that, the company behind the game comes looking for him. The game company's chairman: "I hear you like my son?" [Unconventional raising-the-protagonist story: a powerful newbie big-shot top x a support king bottom who only makes things worse the more he tries to explain, so he gives up and rolls with it] Theme: You have to fight for what you want.
