The Night Before the Gods' Demise [Infinite]

As the planetary environment steadily deteriorates, it can no longer support too many humans. The Supreme Divine Court has therefore decreed that all citizens must strive to take part in survival games to earn the right to live. The strong survive; the weak die.

The games are a matter of life and death, and every player is armed to the teeth and ready for battle. So when the beautiful, frail-looking Bai Yeyi appeared on the field, he immediately drew everyone’s attention.

A finely tailored white suit, delicate rimless glasses,

silver hair perfectly in place. Look closer, and he wasn’t carrying a single weapon...

“Isn’t he just delivering himself to the monsters? Hahahaha!”

The spectators outside the arena burst into laughter. But before it had even died down, Bai Yeyi raised his left hand, and a towering man with a half-metal body suddenly appeared on the field. The next second, blood sprayed everywhere, and the savage monsters were reduced to a heap of severed limbs and mangled remains!

The man’s unmistakable appearance turned the laughter into stunned silence.

That man was Chen Xiu!

Chen Xiu, known as the Underworld King, was the leader of an underground gang and a god-tier fighter backed by the entire population. He was the number-one player in the first game, but died unexpectedly in the second.

And now, the dead Underworld King Chen Xiu had somehow been summoned into the game, and the one calling him into battle was none other than that feeble-looking pretty boy!

“Impossible! Why would someone as powerful as Chen Xiu take orders from him?!”

No one could believe their eyes. But Chen Xiu alone knew that when he had been gravely wounded and on the brink of death, it was Bai Yeyi’s cool fingers that had rested on his bloodstained forehead.

“But as my summon, you can exist forever.”

“Life or death. Make your choice.”

At first, everyone thought the smiling Bai Yeyi was an easy target they could push around.

But after seeing one person after another who tried to bully him meet a miserable end, and even the Supreme Divine Court destroyed in a single night, they finally realized in horror:

Beneath that delicate appearance was the god who would bring the gods of this post-apocalyptic world to their knees.

Chen Xiu (summoned being) is the top, and Bai Yeyi (summoner) is the bottom. Besides the top, the bottom will have other summoned beings, who will join the main group one by one as the story progresses. There are many characters, but the pairing remains strictly one-on-one.
