Caddy is a failed vampire.
Because in this day and age, when vegetarianism and protecting humans are the mainstream, he's a disgraceful blood addict.
While everyone else works hard to suppress their thirst in order to protect humans, Caddy drools over his classmates' necks every day.
He has no intention of holding back. Even being thrown in prison wouldn't make him want to.
Of course he works hard to get along with his classmates so he can drink blood legally!

With graduation approaching, Caddy, who has spent all of college happily drinking blood, has no choice but to start job hunting.
After going through countless trials and tribulations, he realizes that taking the civil service exam is the right path for a vampire.
Especially that Human Protection Bureau: high pay, great benefits, and a nine-to-six schedule that lets you sleep to your heart's content.
"Don't think about what humans can do for you. Think more about what you can do for humans!"
Those words hit home. Caddy takes stock of his talents, but aside from being good at drinking blood, all he has going for him is a passable face.
If you're good-looking, then livestream and give humans a feast for the eyes!

During his first week livestreaming, Caddy demonstrates a hundred ways to drink blood.
Reported for graphic, terrifying content, his stream is shut down.
During his second week, Caddy shows his loving everyday life with his roommate.
Accused of pandering to gay audiences, his stream is shut down.
During his third week, Caddy doesn't dare do anything rash.
Facing the camera, he simply starts reviewing for the civil service exam.
Three days later, Caddy remembers that he forgot to turn off the camera.
To his surprise, his livestream has... over a million viewers?

Reader's Guide
1. A lighthearted slice-of-life story, but with a hodgepodge of elements.
2. The setting is close to modern times, but includes lots of author-invented details.
3. The eight races (tentative): humans, vampires, werewolves, merfolk, elves, angels, demons, and undead.
4. Written purely for my own enjoyment.
Theme: I decide my own fate, not heaven.
