Remembering Her Funeral

A color memorial portrait appeared on the big red wooden cabinet at home.

The person in the photo was smiling kindly.

--She had prepared it for herself long ago.

--Back then, she even smiled and said, “This photo turned out great.”

I never really understood.

I couldn't understand how anyone could calmly make arrangements for their own funeral.

But that didn't stop me from grieving.
