Shi Sui and Wen Yanchuan's breakup was anything but amicable. She will never forget how Wen Yanchuan's mother came to see her, looked down at her, and told her she wasn't good enough for Wen Yanchuan, and that she hoped Shi Sui would be the one to end things.
For the next few years, Shi Sui's birthday wish never changed: she hoped the Wen family would go bankrupt, giving her the chance to slap a pile of money down in front of Wen Yanchuan's mother and tell her, “From now on, I'll support Wen Yanchuan.”
She never imagined that this wish would actually come true one day.
Two years later, Shi Sui becomes a sensation thanks to a campus drama, rising overnight to become a popular young actress. More fans mean more trouble, so her company decides to find her a bodyguard.
Among the many applicants, Shi Sui spots Wen Yanchuan at once.
At that moment, she knows her chance for revenge has arrived.

The Wen family owns an entertainment company, which has always been run by Wen Yanchuan's cousin.
One day, Wen Yanchuan visits the company at his cousin's invitation, never expecting to run into Shi Sui.
When Shi Sui sees him, she doesn't avoid him. She even smiles brightly. “My ex. Here looking for a job?”
Wen Yanchuan raises an eyebrow but doesn't deny it.
Shi Sui waves, and her assistant brings over a bag of cash she prepared earlier.
Wen Yanchuan looks at the bag, puzzled. “What's this for?”
Shi Sui pats the cash in front of her and declares, “Take this and send it to your mom. Tell her: you're mine to support now.”
