After the lightning strikes her, the compulsive liar Qiao Zhi unexpectedly transmigrates into a CEO novel, becoming the scheming female supporting character who dies horribly in the book. For some inexplicable reason, she also gets bound to a Truth-Telling System.
The Truth-Telling System tells her that to stay alive, she has to complete the main plot and cannot lie.
Qiao Zhi thinks, how hard can that be?
Only later does she realize that not lying is really hard!

The first step in completing the main plot is to get the male lead, Ji Jingheng's, contact information.
At a business reception, Qiao Zhi finally finds Ji Jingheng and immediately goes over to him. "Mr. Ji, could I get your contact information?"
Ji Jingheng coldly looks over Qiao Zhi, who's dressed in sportswear, and says disdainfully, "Has no one ever told you to dress properly before asking for my contact information?"
Qiao Zhi answers honestly, "No. Sorry, it's my first time. I don't have much experience."
Ji Jingheng: "??"
Qiao Zhi: "Don't worry, Mr. Ji. I'm not asking for your WeChat. Alipay will do."
Curious, Ji Jingheng agrees for the first time to add an unfamiliar woman's Alipay account.
Just then, a beep sounds, and the task completion notice appears.
System: Alipay counts as contact information??
The second step of the main quest is to build a relationship with Ji Jingheng.
After receiving the task, Qiao Zhi hesitates for a long time, then sends Ji Jingheng an invitation through Alipay.
[Mr. Ji, are you there? Are you free to go running together tomorrow?]
[Mr. Ji, are you free to discuss the philosophy of life tomorrow?]
Watching the messages keep popping up on Alipay, Ji Jingheng can't help asking, "Qiao Zhi, what exactly do you mean by asking me out over and over?"
Thinking of that ridiculous system, Qiao Zhi can only press her lips together and smile without saying a word.
Seeing Qiao Zhi holding back her words until her cheeks turn red, Ji Jingheng becomes even more certain of one thing: Qiao Zhi likes him! Why else would she go to such lengths to get his contact details and come up with new ways every day to attract his attention?
With that thought in mind, he clears his throat, pretending to be calm. "All right. Since you like me, I'll indulge you and let you keep liking me."
Qiao Zhi: Big guy, did I even say anything??
System: What the hell, that works too??
A compulsive liar who only wants to stay alive vs. a CEO who overthinks everything and assumes the heroine likes him.
Theme: Honesty matters.
