Livestreaming from the Night Class at Cross Academy

[Upcoming: I Confessed to the Gray Valley Brothers After Dressing as a Girl]

[Upcoming: I Started Livestreaming in the Ultraman World]

[Reading Guide and Other Notes Below]

Hoshino Yuma is a student in the Night Class at Cross Academy.

His everyday routine is to blend into the background and make the several highly admired adults at the school stand out.

They are called adults not because Hoshino Yuma is also an ardent fan of theirs, but because they have quite a presence in the vampire world.

The head of the Kuran dormitory, Kuran, is a rare pureblood, a top-tier vampire ranked Level A.

To show their obedience to him, the vampire families sent many people to make up the Night Class student body. Hoshino Yuma is one of them.

As a Level B vampire, he plays the background character. But he also has a side gig: bound to a livestream System, he helps people from other worlds open new doors and gives them a glimpse of everyday vampire life.

[Wow, a vampire who goes to school!]

[So this is how vampires are ranked?]

[Why do Yuma's friends, the Sakamakis, look like they belong in a different art style from Cross Academy?]

[I feel the same way. They don't seem to make a big deal about ranks, either.]

[Different art styles just lead to bugs.]

Hoshino Yuma couldn't agree more with the viewers' comments.

The world he lived in really did have a lot of bugs.

Besides vampires, there were also people with supernatural abilities, demons, gods, and other beings.

Being able to live in this world safe and sound was truly something worth celebrating.

Reading Guide:

1. No CP and no romance.

2. The story introduces Cross Academy and other things through the protagonist's eyes. This is an everyday-life story, with the occasional battle or mention of one, but it isn't a battle-focused story. I write slice-of-life stories, and once I've set the tone, I can't change it.

3. I'll mention the anime series crossed over in the author's notes.

4. The cover is a commissioned character design by Sleepy Finch, licensed for online use. The character in this artwork is a roll of tape in real life. [Special note]

5. The author's notes include introductions to the characters who appear.

6. In the original work, Cross Academy is a night school for celebrities and high society figures who can't attend classes during the day, not a vampire school. In this story, I've made it a school where vampires gather. I made a major mistake in my research, and it's my fault. By the time I realized it, it was too late to fix it. QAQ

Upcoming: I Started Livestreaming in the Ultraman World

Tsuruta Yusuke is an ordinary high school student. One day, he gets bound to a livestream System and starts broadcasting his everyday life. Tsuruta Yusuke thinks his daily routine is boring and has nothing worth livestreaming, but the viewers don't agree.

They think the world Tsuruta Yusuke lives in and the things he experiences are fascinating.

The big, wide world: Aliens eyeing Earth like it's the plot of a manga, monsters appearing one after another, and Ultraman Tiga protecting Earth and humanity.

The small, everyday world: All kinds of urban legends keep them on the edge of their seats.

Amid this strange world that combines the big and the small, Tsuruta also uses Classmate Yagiri's house to travel to all kinds of parallel worlds. There are countless giants like Ultraman Tiga there, as well as all sorts of aliens and monsters.

Shocking!

Is Tsuruta really not going to write The Adventures of Tsuruta Yusuke, based on himself?

Watching Tsuruta get chased by all kinds of aliens, monsters, and urban legends, they pray that he has personal accident insurance. No, they should be praying that he makes it through alive and well.

Yazumi of GUTS has a childhood friend with an unstable life bar.

They say his life bar is unstable because he keeps going through things that most people think would kill him over and over. But Tsuruta is tenacious, and he's still alive. Lately, though, he seems to be in danger of dying: captured by the Crow People, targeted by urban legends, and able to transmigrate through time. Then he's plagued by aliens and urban legends, and transmigrates through time again...

Yazumi feels like his childhood friend is doomed.

Selected chat messages:

[No way, the giant is Ultraman Tiga!]

[Your childhood friend is Yazumi, the computer genius?]

[Help, the streamer was kidnapped by the Crow People and is being taken to another planet to work!]

[Yazumi says you're a walking disaster, hahaha.]

[Looks like an urban legend has its eye on you!]

[Classmate Yagiri's house connects to multiple otherworldly spaces?]

[Another giant? Z's exit was so cool!]

[Oh wow, there are so many Ultramen in those different spaces.]

[Aaah, the aliens attacking Earth are here. Run!]

[A high-tech racing car?]

[What's a qilin? The Twelve Kingdoms?]

[Watch out for the young man driving the ice cream truck!]

Reading Guide:

1. The protagonist is an ordinary passerby in the Ultraman world, seeing everything from an ordinary person's perspective. No romance, no CP!

2. This won't be a direct Ultraman crossover free-for-all. I haven't watched that many Ultraman series and I'm afraid of introducing bugs, so the story only observes things from an ordinary person's perspective.

3. The world has Ultramen, urban legends, and anime characters.

4. This is an everyday-life story, not a battle-focused one. If you want to read about the protagonist becoming a superhero and defeating monsters, you can click away.

5. The timeline is a mess. Please don't scrutinize it.

6. The cover is a commissioned character design by Sleepy Finch, licensed for online use. The character in this artwork is a roll of tape in real life. [Special note]
