After Falling in Love Online with My Mortal Enemy

Everyone in the circle knows Lin Zhufeng and Lu Changming can't stand each other. They've looked down on one another for years. Whenever they're together, they argue, and when things get heated, they even fight.

After a long time apart, the two run into each other at a party. Lin Zhufeng avoids smoking and keeps out of the crowd as usual, but Lu Changming doesn't come over to pick a fight.

A friend asks Lu Changming why he isn't arguing with Lin Zhufeng anymore.

"My boyfriend hates arguing." Lu Changming looks at Lin Zhufeng with scorn. "Only people with no manners argue."

It's more shocking than a collision between Mars and Earth to see a spoiled rich brat actually behaving himself. Everyone gets curious about what Lu Changming's boyfriend looks like and clamors for him to bring the guy around.

Lu Changming: "We met online and have never met in person."

Everyone is speechless with shock. Once they recover, they ask Lu Changming to show them a photo instead.

Lu Changming pulls up a close-up of part of a hand, looking mysterious. "This is the only photo I have. His fingers are long and slender. He looks beautiful when he plays the piano."

A friend says the hand looks a bit like Lin Zhufeng's and calls him over to compare. Lin Zhufeng refuses outright. He doesn't want anything to do with that jerk, not even to have a similar-looking hand.

Just then, Lin Zhufeng gets a message: My friend said my nemesis's hand looks a bit like yours. I flat-out denied it. That guy's short, stubby, mangled hand can't hold a candle to yours, darling.

A bad feeling rises in Lin Zhufeng's chest. He looks up at Lu Changming, who's typing away, and taps the video-call button on his screen.
