Yang Yuxi got hooked on a hardcore, single-player mobile game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Its setting was nothing new, and one of its few charms was its remarkably realistic gameplay. The player's job was to control a faceless little character and try to survive.
He played day and night, like a man possessed.
He gathered supplies, built shelters, befriended survivors, and took on tough stages and bosses, never getting tired of it.
There were so few players that when he ran into trouble, no one was around to help, and when something good happened, there was no one to brag to.
And so, as he played, he reached the 10,000-day-in-game milestone...
He'd thought he could keep playing until his phone gave out, but his save file vanished before that could happen.
Yang Yuxi never started a new game. He kept hoping that one day he'd come back, take a look, and find his save file restored, with all the NPCs he'd carefully looked after doing well and waiting for him to log in and give them new orders.
Despair set in when Yang Yuxi suddenly fell gravely ill and remained unconscious for a while. When he woke, the zombie virus had already spread.
But maybe things weren't quite so hopeless. Why did this guy seem so familiar? He looked a bit like... one of the survivors he'd rescued in the game. Yeah, that's it. Even the way he wielded his special ability was exactly the same.
Yang Yuxi is the beloved center of the group. Pairings undecided, ship whoever you like. It's all a chaotic stew of wild ideas and plot detours, anyway.
※ The apocalypse may include, but is not limited to: zombies, insectoid aliens, and extraterrestrials.
My own settings, logic sacrificed to the heavens, endless fun.
Theme: The dream is to finish the novel.

Welcome. This is a story that is more like OC literature than a novel. There is no fixed outline here, only: a storyline that comes up one by one, fragmented descriptions, the author's OC team to fish, and the main line where the author himself doesn't know what he wants to write. Therefore, this article does not have an initial commercial purpose, and I do not expect to make money from it, but if everyone likes it, then I will be very happy ( ̄▽ ̄) You are welcome to discuss the content of the novel, point out the deficiencies in plot logic, and make suggestions on the wishful writing style. If possible, please treat conflicts rationally and speak peacefully. Thank you for watching.
