On How Male Insects Adapt to the ABO World

Update, 2024.9.21:

This may be a pick-your-favorite romance. There will be romantic or romance-like plotlines, but the official pairing has not been decided yet. The final couple will only be confirmed after the blurb is finished. This is not a no-romance novel!

A male zerg fell into another world by accident. The zerg there were mindless monsters that only attacked people, while society was dominated by humans with three ABO genders.

This wouldn't do. If they discovered he was a zerg, he'd be killed.

Later, the undocumented male zerg was taken in for a gender test, and the System said he was an alpha.

Male zerg: Phew, that's a relief.

Thinking it over, the male zerg decided that moving to another world wasn't such a big deal. Even though he couldn't smell other people's pheromones and they couldn't smell his, he could still marry a woman, have a child, and live out his life. Nothing would really change.

Until he discovered that the males in ABO society were incredibly competitive, and a frail little body like his wasn't going to get him an omega wife.

Between pretending to be an omega while being an alpha, and tearfully taking the role of the top...

The male zerg, who had no brood pouch, decided to fight back!

Years later, the strong male zerg had finally reached adulthood. During a mission, he accidentally fell into a wormhole and returned to his own world.

Ah! Damn this world where only frail male zergs are popular!

Furious that he could no longer get his old body back, the male zerg seized control of the wormhole and rounded up a bunch of scientists to expand it into a stargate. He would bring the cultures of the two worlds together and reconcile their tastes!

He was going to get a wife!

Much later, the male zerg, now an ambassador for peace among multiple worlds, signed a peace agreement with the fifth world at a diplomatic summit. The sixth and seventh worlds were still waiting for him to sign agreements with them.

The male zerg, buried in work: How did it come to this? Where's my wife?

(As I wrote, I realized that "tearfully taking the role of the bottom" sounded smoother, but it doesn't fit the theme, haha.)

I'm writing this for fun, so there's no need to take the fun parts too seriously.

I make occasional revisions.

If the protagonist seems dumb, it's not him who's dumb, it's me.

The title reflects the earlier content, but it might turn into something else later. The blurb is an outline, and the story may end up contradicting itself as I write.
