In the summer of 2047, three world-shaking events took place.
First:
A higher-dimensional civilization intervened, turning all things into data and making them visible. The first step in identifying something new was no longer to look at its shape, but to check its attribute window.
Second:
Crystal pillars that emerged from underground spread strange radiation, gradually affecting every place on the surface they reached.
Third:
People aged fifteen and older began disappearing in batches. Those who returned claimed they had been to an unprecedented ocean. Surviving there awakened superpowers and granted them items...
Only then did humanity realize that Earth had become the playground of a higher-dimensional civilization. Watching humans struggle to survive and fight was nothing more than entertainment for those higher beings.

A month before winter set in during 2047, Yang Yu, who had just turned fifteen, was unlucky enough to draw a ticket to another world.
An endless expanse of gray-blue water, a raft about the size of his bed, a grappling crossbow that had appeared in his backpack, and "trash" floating across the sea on the wind...
It turned out everything those people on the news had said was true.

The initial inspiration was Raft, with allusions to and references to other games such as Subnautica. At its heart, though, this is a story about scavenging, leveling up, and fighting monsters. Romance may not take up much of the story.
The golden finger is thicker than a thigh. What can I say? The E in unlucky is the E in EX.
