The Dragon Who Transmigrated into a Book as the Fallen-Demon Senior Sister

Bai Wugui: "Qingzhuo, that was uncalled for."

Feng Qingzhuo: "Sorry, Master."

Hearing the voices, Xia Weiqi began thrashing wildly. Everyone saw the egg shaking violently, and the dragons and humans nearby discussed the matter. "Perhaps Chris likes Master Feng. Why don’t you take her back and raise her?" the Dragon Mother suggested.

"Qingzhuo, accept her already."

"Yes."

And so Feng Qingzhuo, standing off to the side and called upon once again, somehow ended up bringing a dragon egg back from Dragon Valley, thousands of miles away.

After hatching, Xia Weiqi, a Western dragon, settled into the sect and acquired a new name: Chris.

But... Feng Qingzhuo. Why did that name sound so familiar? At twenty, Chris suddenly remembered: wasn’t she the senior sister who served as a cannon-fodder character in a tragic novel she’d read?!!!

Chris was terrified. She remembered the book saying that Senior Sister Feng Qingzhuo was the leader of the righteous path. After fighting with her junior sister over a boyfriend, Feng Qingzhuo fell into resentment and turned demonic. The world despised her, and her master personally cut out her inner core and expelled her from the sect.

Fate had played its cruel joke: the once-great leader of the righteous path became the foremost figure of the demonic path. But in the final battle between immortals and demons, Feng Qingzhuo was outnumbered and beheaded by the junior sister she loved and her senior brother, as a warning to the world.

But... Chris scratched her head and looked at Feng Qingzhuo, who seemed to have neither desire nor affection, neither love nor hate. She was baffled. How could this woman possibly be someone who turned demonic for love? And didn’t Feng Qingzhuo cultivate the Unfeeling Way? How could she join the Hehuan Sect after turning demonic? What did that have to do with the way she had cultivated before???

"Qingzhuo!" the little dragon called in a childish voice to the person practicing swordsmanship.

"What is it?" Feng Qingzhuo rose at the sound, eyeing the dragon cub with some puzzlement.

"I’m hungry!" The little dragon pointed at her mouth and shouted, even though she hadn’t grown all her teeth yet.

"Coming." Feng Qingzhuo, a cultivation fanatic, dutifully gave up her sword practice, picked up some firewood, and went to cook instead.

Chris: "Qingzhuo, have you ever heard the story of the princess and the evil dragon?"

Feng Qingzhuo: "No."

"Then let me tell it to you." After Chris finished, Feng Qingzhuo asked curiously, "Why must the dragon kidnap the princess? Why must the evil dragon be slain by a knight?"

Chris fell silent. She didn’t know either.

Feng Qingzhuo shook her head, her eyes darkening. The evil dragon’s experience was so much like her own that she felt an unexpected kinship, though she was unwilling to admit it. "Your story has too many flaws."

Chris asked, a little huffily, "Then how would you change it?"

Feng Qingzhuo smiled at her. "Obviously, the princess takes the evil dragon home, raises her from a little one, and the two of them live happily ever after."

Chris: "?"

Feng Qingzhuo: "In other words, I raised you, so..." Feng Qingzhuo’s cool fingertips brushed Chris’s cheek as she smiled and said, "You’re my dragon."

Chris: "Then to be fair, you have to be my princess!"

Feng Qingzhuo smiled happily and softly replied, "All right."

Preview: After the Fox Cub Was Driven from the Sect, She Took Charge

Bai Jin transmigrated into a book as a cannon-fodder white fox by the side of the heroine, Ning Wuxu.

As a useless spirit pet, Bai Jin carried the bloodline of a nine-tailed fox, yet couldn’t learn a thing. When the heroine told her to fight, she rolled her eyes, foamed at the mouth, and pretended to be dead. When told to practice, she went fishing instead.

As a genius of the Beast Taming Sect, the chosen one, the sect’s darling, and the sect leader’s biological daughter, Ning Wuxu considered Bai Jin, her useless spirit pet, a lifelong stain on her reputation.

In the original book, the heroine wanted to replace Bai Jin every day and would have loved to get rid of her. After meeting the male lead, she used her cultivation technique to have him skin and dismember Bai Jin, stripping away her nine-tailed bloodline to use as nourishment for a new spirit pet.

Bai Jin trembled with fear. Thinking about what was coming only made her more terrified. She thought, Run! I have to run!

At last, one day, she found her chance and slipped away from Ning Wuxu, leaving behind a letter and the money she’d earned from odd jobs. She called it a clean break, with no hard feelings, and said they would never meet again.

At the end of the letter, Bai Jin drew a fox running away with a bundle on its back, captioned: "Your fox has run away, teehee.jpg."

But after Bai Jin ran away, Miss Ning lost her appetite and couldn’t sleep. All day long, she stared at Bai Jin’s fox den, no one knew what she was thinking.

Years later, Bai Jin returned to the mountain and became the ruler of Fox Mountain. The foxes under her command brought back a human, covered in blood and looking pitiful, just like Bai Jin when Ning Wuxu had brought her home all those years ago.

Bai Jin stepped forward and took a closer look. Those dark eyes were familiar. Her gaze moved down past the woman’s straight nose and finally stopped at her red lips. Pretty... I want to kiss her.

Sensing danger, Bai Jin’s ears twitched. Instinctively, she tried to make a run for it, but someone reached out and grabbed her fox tail.

The woman’s hand was slender and delicate, her skin pale. She buried her face in Bai Jin’s neck and murmured, "Great King, this time, you get to decide. I’m willing to be your spirit pet."
