Why Hasn't She Confessed to Me Yet?

In Tong Jia's gloomy, stifling school days, Jiang Baiyang was the only bright spot in her life.

The boy was top of his class, living boldly and freely, always cool and carefree. She was quiet and taciturn, with average grades, the most forgettable person in the class.

No one would ever connect the two of them, and naturally, no one knew about the secret feelings she kept hidden from the world.

Tong Jia thought they would finish high school without ever having anything to do with each other.

Until one afternoon, she couldn't find the diary full of her secret crush at her dorm. When she returned to class, she saw its pages torn to pieces and scattered among everyone.

The class, usually noisy with gossip, fell silent. All that remained were her, frozen in the doorway, and the boy standing in the middle of the room with a basketball in his arms.

Tong Jia thought Jiang Baiyang would avoid her from then on.

Instead, she found herself seeing him more often than before. She ran into him everywhere, and even ended up sitting next to him at a party.

Jiang Baiyang had something bothering him lately.

He'd been making it so obvious. Why hadn't Tong Jia confessed to him yet?

A girl who only wants to secretly admire her crush vs. a cocky guy who has convinced himself she likes him and now struts around like a peacock, hoping she'll confess every day
