The Whole Entertainment Industry Has to Hear My Gossip

My name is Chu Sang, and I’m a top-tier fan-site manager.

For ten years, I worked tirelessly to raise a little nobody into a star. I boosted his stats, hired online shills, and made gorgeous fan edits. I thought he was the purest white lotus, untouched by the mud, and that the whole world was out to get him.

I made him an award-winning actor, then, before I’d even had two days to rest, I died in a car accident.

-

Surprise, I came back to life.

The gossip System told me I’d raised an ungrateful snake. Gu Ze had hitched himself to powerful backers to climb the ladder, and I’d become part of his plan to placate the old man jealous of me. The two of them staged a car accident and killed me :)

Well, well, well. The victim was me all along.

Right then, a proposal for a variety show called The Ultimate Paparazzi landed in front of me.

Six paparazzi work together to grow a field of real and fake scandals, randomly picking a celebrity to expose each episode.

Me: Niu Hulu, the undisputed Scandal Queen, fears nothing. Bring it on! Let them all fall! The entertainment industry is about to get hit by a magnitude-twelve earthquake.

An idol from M Group debuted as the center, with a devoted-to-his-fans, single-guy image that attracted countless followers.

Me: [Fake debut, bullied his teammates, and has a whole crowd of women on the side. You sure you still want to stan him?]

Award-winning actor Gu Ze had resources pouring in and everything he starred in became a hit. He was the nation’s gentle, beloved heartthrob.

Me: [Sweetie, he’s a murderer. He killed his fan-site manager of ten years. Oh, right, an award-winning actor? You mean the one who made a gay porn video with his seventy-year-old sugar daddy? ^-^]

The King of Pop used to release hit songs one after another, but unfortunately switched to acting halfway through his career, leaving his fans heartbroken.

Me: [No need to feel sorry for him. He’s used ghost singers since his very first song at seventeen. The song he wrote for his fans in his debut year was actually for his brother’s wife, and now their kid’s about to debut on a talent show.]

At first, the fans didn’t believe a word I said. They accused me of clout-chasing, told me to die, and wished they could reach through the screen and tear me apart.

Then their idols’ careers came crashing down, and they came in droves begging me to expose more dirt and take down everyone else, too.

In the end, the idols, actors, and singers either left the industry or got blacklisted.

Thanks to my cleanup, the entertainment industry had never been better.

As for the ungrateful little snake I’d raised, I personally sent him off to prison. Hehe.
