The original outline and main text have been scrapped and rewritten. Please treat this as a pre-release listing.
I’m getting ready to resume updates with a backlog. If you’re interested, please add it to your collection (sparkly eyes).
CP: A hyper-capable, chaos-loving, eccentric superstar × a younger athlete (sports student)
As an entertainment-industry top-tier star whom netizens say can go completely unhinged anywhere, Wen Xian would rather wreck someone else than turn his anger inward. He firmly believes that you can do without a good public image, but you can never let a grudge go unavenged. He ushered in a glorious age of celebrities using their verified accounts to personally flame their haters.
This sharp-tongued warrior, however, met his match in a younger sports student.
At their first meeting, Qi Yiyang’s physique left a deep impression on Wen Xian. As an athlete, he was exceptionally tall and well-built, as if he could knock out two of Wen Xian with a single punch. Then Wen Xian looked at his face. Tsk, he was actually kind of good-looking?
But Wen Xian soon discovered that Qi Yiyang was picky and painfully straight. He seemed easygoing, but he really didn’t know how to go easy on people.
A superstar? Just some random passerby. Not worth accommodating at all.
Get roasted? He’d fire right back on the spot, calm and smiling pleasantly.
Annoyed by someone pestering him for a fight? He’d simply shut them up with his hands.
With his broad shoulders and long legs, Qi Yiyang loomed over him, his presence overwhelming. His fingers were long, cool, and bony, and he wrapped his entire hand around Wen Xian’s face, as if he were gripping some absurdly powerful, misshapen basketball.
Humiliated and blanking out, Wen Xian could only point a trembling finger at Qi Yiyang’s retreating back once he came to his senses, while announcing to his friends: This guy is finished.
So, when they crossed paths again, Wen Xian made it his mission to push all of Qi Yiyang’s buttons. He put on an exaggerated, affected act in front of him, constantly going “Oh, you,” “I hate that,” and “Waaah,” playing up every stereotype straight men hated until he was ten times more annoying.
Qi Yiyang’s head buzzed. At last, he frowned, rolled up his sleeves, and threatened him: “Keep wriggling around like a worm and I’ll punch you. Believe me?”
Wen Xian had never been spoken to so harshly or described that way before. Stunned, he woke up in a rage in the middle of the night and sent a flurry of sixty-second voice messages declaring that they were through. When Qi Yiyang replied with a question mark, he sent another flurry of sixty-second messages accusing him of being cold-hearted.
Qi Yiyang turned off his phone. “What a nutcase.”
After tormenting each other like this for a long time, Wen Xian decided to strike back hard. He went to find Qi Yiyang, planning to rehearse an ambush, only to overhear a phone call in which the other person was urging Qi Yiyang to come back and inherit the family business. His family was just as powerful as Wen Xian’s.
Wen Xian: ...
Wen Xian: ???
He lunged at Qi Yiyang and grabbed him by the neck, furious. “You haven’t even used your real power to crush me! Do you think I’m not! Worthy! Of it?!!!”
Qi Yiyang froze for two seconds, then turned back to negotiate. “Don’t rush me. I’ll crush you tomorrow, okay?”
The next day, the entertainment headlines read:
#Qi Group Makes Major Investment in Star Ring Entertainment, Becomes Largest Shareholder, and Announces It Has Planned the Next Decade of Wen Xian’s Smooth Rise to Stardom#
#At the Height of His Fame, Snubbed by the Wen Family but Backed by the Qi Family: The Entertainment Industry Has No More Rivals for Wen Xian#
Hearing the news after just finishing another argument with Qi Yiyang, Wen Xian sprawled out in bliss. “He’s scared. He’s starting to surrender... Heh, I’m really amazing.”
The two of them at first: “So what if he’s handsome? I’d rather date a pig than him!”
The two of them later: “My boyfriend is as adorable as a little pig...”
CP: A naturally unhinged, theatrical superstar × an athlete who goes from being impossible to sway to becoming a master of pampering his partner through rose-colored glasses
※The cover features Wen Xian’s pink-haired stage look.
※1v1, happy ending. The entertainment industry and campus life won’t be the main focus. It’s more of a slice-of-life story and may be a slow burn.
※Neither character is particularly nice, so they both get put in their place by their partners. Please take note if that bothers you.
※The characters are not based on real people. The setting is a fictional modern world, so please don’t associate it with reality.
※The author revises constantly. Usually the changes don’t matter, so feel free to ignore them. I’ll let you know if anything important changes.
