Western Crossover: The Beloved’s Love Story

[Please read the reader's guide before starting, mwah] [Coming soon: [Western Crossover] Do Batkids Have to Be Everyone's Favorite Too?] Sang Yi, a handsome and refined international student, is a gentle gentleman who is popular among his fellow students and has plenty of admirers. But when it comes to romance, he's quite slow on the uptake. After surviving an airplane crash, he was bound to a System. To earn a chance at survival, the System required him to keep transmigrating between worlds and completing missions. When strange gifts kept appearing in his rented home at 221B Baker Street, Sang Yi had no choice but to ask a famous detective and his friend for help. Then he was told that the gifts were someone's way of expressing love, and that this someone might not even be human. The brilliant but socially inept detective held out his hand. “If you're willing to trust me, I'll protect you.” The young man, pale with fright at being wooed, revealed the faintest smile. After transferring to the town of Forks, the superstar Sang Yi found himself pursued by an obsessive fan. The classmate who helped him seemed distant and cold, but was actually a good person. His classmate and the rest of his family were strikingly handsome, but so pale that they all seemed to suffer from some strange illness... After visiting his handsome classmate's home, strange things always happened at home, and on moonlit nights he could hear eerie howling... His classmate's father's declaration of love left Sang Yi at a loss. His classmate gently told him, “I'm not human.” His assistant... didn't seem to be human either. This town sure was strange and fascinating. Sang Yi thought, But I don't want to know. From Metropolis to dangerous Gotham, Sang Yi compared the two and decided that Gotham was friendlier to him than Metropolis. Sang Yi had always thought Wayne Manor was a safe place, until one night he saw a strange girl lingering outside his window. “Stay away from her.” The wealthy playboy, seen by outsiders as a sweet and naive fool, stepped in front of Sang Yi, his expression grave. “Is that how you greet an old friend? How hurtful.” The girl smiled. It seemed, Sang Yi thought, that his friends had plenty of secrets too. Then, under the moonlight, a man in a red cape and the Dark Knight appeared, and Sang Yi thought he might have figured out his friend's secret. But... the man in the red cape looked familiar too? Sang Yi wondered uncertainly. Why does he look so much like my justice-loving ex-boyfriend? “You'll be the serial killer's next target.” The BAU team leader came to Sang Yi and told him... ★Silent Hill ★The Lord of the Rings ★Titanic Reader's guide: First, a heads-up: the protagonist is very weak. ★An illogical, everyone-loves-him (emphasis on everyone-loves-him) daily-life romance story. It's a brainless, fluffy read, and there will very likely be a love interest in every world. But don't place bets on anyone. OOC is unavoidable (and extreme), so readers who mind should steer clear. ★The main goal is to let loose and attract like-minded readers with my personal kinks (making a face) → The world is full of my headcanons!! ★This really makes no sense, so don't think too hard while reading, or you'll wonder if you should have clicked on this at all. (Also, the protagonist really is weak. If you want to read about a strong bottom, please don't come in.) ★If you don't like the free chapters, close the page right away. No need to tell me you're dropping the story. [I bow in gratitude] Coming soon: [Western Crossover] Do Batkids Have to Be Everyone's Favorite Too? (The blurb and title are a mess, so I'm using this blurb for now. I'll slowly revise the title and blurb later... I'm really terrible at coming up with titles. I can only churn out the same sort of title over and over QWQ) Wen Lai, a Chinese boy with black hair and black eyes, accidentally ended up in Gotham at fourteen. He moved in with the famous philanthropist Bruce Wayne and officially became part of the Wayne family. From then on, he had an older guardian who seemed like a playboy on the surface but was actually mature and steady, though he always disappeared without explanation at night; brothers with different personalities and no blood relation; and a younger brother with a bit of a temper. But lately, Wen Lai had been troubled. His family was acting strange. When he made a phone call, one of his brothers eavesdropped outside the door. He could even see his emails being intercepted. Other than his brother who was good with computers, he couldn't think of anyone who would do that. When he wanted to go out with his friends, his family acted as if the world were ending. He'd barely put one foot out the door before someone nearby shouted, “No!” They even said things like, “Pseudo-incest still counts as incest,” and “We're not really father and son.” What did that mean? Wen Lai was troubled and uneasy. Had they finally gotten sick of him being a useless freeloader and decided to kick him out so he could live on his own? The Big Bat was troubled lately, because one of his adopted sons seemed to have a crush on someone. Although twenty wasn't exactly an age for puppy love, he still thought his son was naive. How could a twenty-year-old start a family feud over dating someone? So the Bat Family held an emergency meeting. Nightwing: “It's not that Xiao Lai can't date, but...” Red Hood: “His date has to be me.” Red Robin: “No incest. Pseudo-incest still counts as incest.” Nightwing: “Xiao Lai was never officially adopted. At most, they're childhood friends.” The Big Bat pondered. “Oh.” “I saw him go to Arkham. Is his crush the Joker?” The Big Bat was weighed down with worry. “I also saw him go to a famous couples' restaurant with a reporter from Metropolis.” The Big Bat stayed calm. “He went to the amusement park with the Flash!” The Big Bat frowned deeply. “...” Everyone exchanged glances. The family meeting was interrupted when Wen Lai poked his head in the door. “I'm going out now!” Then he heard them all shout in unison, “No!” Wen Lai: “Huh?” Reader's guide: ① Everyone loves the protagonist. The love interests may include, but aren't limited to, the ones in the blurb. A whole Bat Family combo platter. The main story will have an open ending. ② Although the protagonist is a Batkid, no adoption papers were filed, and they are not related by blood. There will be no intimate contact while the protagonist is underage, nor will he have romantic feelings for adults much older than him while underage. ③ My own assembled little universe, with headcanons everywhere and major OOC. ④ The author is completely supportive of the Bat Family, the Justice League, and the Teen Titans. ⑤ As always, my own style of romance. There's not much plot, mostly daily life and relationships. ⑥ Respect each other. Don't mention other authors' works, don't mention any ships other than the protagonist-centered ones in this story, and don't troll. No character impersonation or self-insert dreams. If the author sees it, you'll probably get a delete-comment gift package. Theme: Sincerity is the ultimate weapon
