[Greek Mythology] After My Plan to Win Over the King of the Gods Failed

Preorder for the horror anthology: How Should an Omega Watch a Horror Movie?] Blurb: They named this game The Game of the Gods. The gods in it have a chaotic sense of morality, but Jiang Wu, who is terminally ill, has no choice but to enter the game as its only contestant if he wants to stay alive. Unfortunately, he has already failed twice, and he only gets three chances. ★ When he chose to pursue Zeus, Jiang Wu was full of enthusiasm. He taught Zeus while posing as a mysterious stranger, helped him come up with plans to save his siblings, and guided young Zeus toward the right moral principles... He watched helplessly as Zeus's affection score got stuck at 99 and refused to budge. Then came the news that Zeus would marry Hera, goddess of childbirth. The king of the gods wanted nothing to do with him, so Jiang Wu disappeared from Mount Olympus. Afterward, the sky was covered in dark clouds, and for a long time lightning and thunder raged without a distinction between day and night. ★ On his second playthrough, Jiang Wu chose Poseidon, god of the sea. He met Poseidon in the mortal world and helped King Laoseidong alongside him. The gentle sea god always gave the impression of being deeply devoted. If not for the affection score that remained stuck at 99, Jiang Wu would almost have thought he'd succeeded. But when the sea god returned to the deep, he left behind a letter saying that gods and humans had no need to interact. Apollo said, "That's what he says, but I don't think that's true." Jiang Wu smiled and turned Apollo down. He fell into the sea, apparently trying to find his friend, the sea god he loved, but he never returned. They say that day, sea monsters ran wild and towering waves smashed everything to pieces. ★ After treating Hades's injuries, Jiang Wu stayed in the Underworld. This time, he no longer worried about his body and illness. He slowly drew closer to the King of the Underworld. The King of the Underworld was cold and taciturn. Few people approached him, and the three-headed dog was always at his side. One day, the King of the Underworld said, "The three-headed dog likes you very much." The dog licked Jiang Wu's fingers, whimpering. Jiang Wu looked at the King of the Underworld with bright eyes. The King of the Underworld was grave and solemn as he asked, "Would you be willing to become the Queen of the Underworld?" A major incident took place on Mount Olympus. The king of the gods, the god of the sea, and the king of the Underworld got into a fight. They all claimed the others were coveting their wife. ★★ Reading Guide: Be Sure to Read ★★ [The endgame pairing is with the King of the Underworld. The protagonist pursues three targets in succession, and there will definitely be romantic scenes with more than one of them. Proceed with caution if that bothers you.] ★ The targets are underage at first, and no romance develops before they come of age. ★ The protagonist is adored by everyone, and there may be extensive descriptions of his frail health [bold]. ★ The story starts with the third round, with Zeus and Poseidon's stories told in flashbacks. ★ The protagonist only wants to be cured. His love interest's feelings are not returned right away. ★ Includes lots of faked deaths, groveling repentance, men competing for love, chaotic rivalry, and gods clawing at each other. Proceed with caution if that's not for you, though I really love this kind of thing [softly]. ★ Loosely inspired by works such as Homer's epics and the Odyssey. The Underworld is the main setting and Olympus is secondary, but there are many original interpretations, so it's basically an original work. The relationships are a complete mess, and the whole point is to let loose [not really]. Don't ask. I just love this stuff. Preorder: The Beloved's Love Story II Investiture of the Gods ★ The Imprisoned Phoenix. During the Investiture of the Gods, he was a disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun, the freest phoenix on Mount Kunlun, and everyone doted on him. But after leaving Mount Kunlun, he wandered into Chaoge and was imprisoned by King Zhou. "You are an immortal." King Zhou's smile was unfathomable. "Then I shall defile an immortal." "Yang Jian has come to rescue his martial uncle." The handsome young man embraced him in King Zhou's bedroom. "I'm late." "I told A Sang long ago." His senior brother held his chin, his gaze inscrutable. "Don't leave my side on a whim. Not one of these humans is any good. All they want is to cage the phoenix." Overnight, everything seemed to change. His senior brothers and elders, who had doted on him, became very strange. Journey to the West ★ The Mountain Demon. A cat transformed into a human, only to be taken by a wolf demon. As he waited in anxious fear, four pilgrims arrived from the Great Tang in the Eastern Land. When they were about to leave, he begged, "Could you take me with you?" On their journey west, the defiant Great Sage mocked him. "You're clearly a demon. How are you more timid than a human? You're an embarrassment to demons." He mocked him like this, yet carefully carried him on his back after he sprained his ankle. The compassionate monk gazed at him with gentle pity, until the desire hidden deep in his heart was stirred after he was bewitched by a demon. Then he looked at him with an inscrutable expression. Primordial World ★ The Sentient Fly Whisk. Hongjun's fly whisk gained sentience and took the form of an excessively beautiful young man. Luohou snatched the newly born spirit away... Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio ★ The Immortal in the Painting. Seven Heroes and Five Gallants ★ The Spirit of the Juque Sword. [Horror Anthology] How Should an Omega Watch a Horror Movie? Lan You, raised in the lap of luxury, carried his family's hopes of a comeback. Sure enough, he differentiated as a high-quality Omega and was set to marry the future king of the royal family. Then one day, he woke up and found that the world had changed. Lan You couldn't find a way back for now, so he had no choice but to pretend to be one of the people in this world and fit in. He hadn't figured out what to do when his heat came, but the most important thing right now was the strange Tomie in his class. Before he could even figure out why he saw Tomie everywhere, Tomie was already holding his chin and gently nuzzling the back of his neck. "If you don't like me, Yuzu, I'll have to die." "Everyone liked me before you came, Yuzu. But now they all like you... Ah, that means no one likes me anymore. So only you can like me now. Understand?" Tomie threatened him like this. Lan You held back his tears and nodded, but there seemed to be more than one Tomie. Where Lan You couldn't see, Tomie licked the blood from his lips. Yoyo... only needs to love one Tomie. Apart from a few little quirks, Lan You thought Tomie was... not so bad, until he saw Tomie, wearing a skirt, pull out something bigger than his own. "Yuzu is so cute. You'll let me bully you a little, right?" 2. He was watching a romance, but suddenly the video on his computer turned into a horror movie, and a woman in white crawled out of the screen... Lan You, frightened into burrowing into his roommate's arms, didn't see the strange curve of his roommate's lips. His roommate gently stroked the back of Lan You's neck and spoke softly. "You saw that, right, Yuzu? If you flirt around outside, ghosts will come after you." Lan You, eyes brimming with tears, said he understood. One day after he and his roommate started dating, Lan You saw a news report. The dead person had exactly the same face as his roommate. "I told you... ghosts would come after you." A chilling presence enveloped Lan You, and his roommate's voice was full of laughter. "Don't be afraid." ★★★ Reading Guide ★★★ ★ Out of character!!! [bold] ★ The protagonist is weak, timid, and cries easily, and is very much adored by everyone. If that's not your thing, proceed with caution. ★ I'm not sure what else might be a problem, so let me say it again: Out-of-character portrayals are unavoidable in fanfiction and derivative works. Proceed with caution if that bothers you. Theme: Never underestimate frail human beings.
