Blurb
Have you ever met someone like that?
So beautiful she could beguile you, so awful she could make your teeth grind, so powerful it seemed the entire pitch was her playground. At just fourteen, she had already established herself at RE·AL. An average of four goals per game was merely a casual pastime for her when she was in a good mood.
Her teammates' complaints? She ignored them, not even bothering to lift an eyelid.
If she suddenly took pity on you one day and decided to "teach" you, her touch would be so gentle it was like stroking a frightened cat. She would call you a good kid in the sweetest voice, while crushing every achievement you were proud of beneath her feet. You should have been furious, but when she leaned close, those ruby-red eyes reflected your embarrassment, and her little canine teeth left warm breath beside your ear. You'd discover, damn it, that your heart had skipped a beat.
That's the kind of person she is. She drives you mad, but you can't help falling for her.
Now this mischievous menace, whom the entire pitch calls the "Princess," has turned down Madrid's top youth academy, quietly terminated her contract, and dropped into a project in Japan called Blue Lock, all to work for her adoptive father's former teammate. In this prison holding three hundred strikers, she is almost too much in her element.
Teasing? She's an expert.
She says the most provocative things with the most innocent expression. When you fly into a rage and try to charge at her, she stops you with one finger on your forehead, and you can't move any closer. When you collapse in a corner, she comes over to ruffle your hair and whispers in your ear, "There, there. Don't cry." Her tone is so sincere that you start to wonder if everything before was a hallucination.
Provoking people? It's second nature.
"That's all the speed you've got?" Before she's even finished speaking, the ball has already gone between your legs, and she's off in the distance with laughter like silver bells, leaving you with only the sight of her little golden-red braid bouncing as she runs away.
Flirting? Just another day at the office.
After training, when she's sleepy, she'll simply use some unlucky guy's leg as a pillow. You can't move or make a sound. When she wakes up, you'll be rewarded with a casual, "Your thighs are pretty comfy," and then realize that everyone nearby is glaring at you as if they want to kill you.
It took the Blue Lock boys just three days to go from furious and shocked to becoming walking wisecrackers. They still hadn't figured out whether they had Stockholm syndrome when an even more serious problem appeared:
That haughty Japanese treasure, Itoshi Sae, personally tied her shoelaces.
That arrogant emperor, Michael Kaiser, happily brought her snacks.
Julian Loki, hailed as a prodigy by the people of France, let her order him around and seemed to enjoy every second of it.
...How does this kid know so many people?!
She said her admirers could line up from Tokyo all the way to France. No one thought she was telling the truth.
Now, the strikers locked in this prison have begun to wonder whether they even have the right to compete for her attention.
The main story is written in second person, with the heroine as "you."
In theory, Isagi is the male lead, but the main story ends without a pairing. There are romantic routes for everyone, but no one is chosen.
Each character's ending is in an alternate route. Characters more than seven years older have no romance in the main story.
The prequel and extra chapters are on the same author's page. Feel free to suggest prompts.
