The Little Zombie Wants World Peace Too

Recommended Pre-Release: I Pretend to Be Blind, He Pretends to Be Lame Rong Jing is a zombie missing one little fang. But then he meets a kind young man, who takes him home and even brings him to the dentist to get a very expensive tooth fitted. From time to time, Rong Jing bites the young man's shoulder to show him just how good that tooth is. Then an accident happens, and Rong Jing falls into a coma. He wakes again when four brats digging a pit to roast sweet potatoes accidentally dig into his grave and rouse him. Rong Jing pushes open his coffin and looks around in confusion. The penniless little zombie clutches his only possession, a tortoise shell, and decides to find the kind young man he met many years ago so he can freeload a couple more meals. A few days later, he frowns at the handsome, imposing man standing before him, deeply suspicious. "Are you really him? You're not trying to scam me, are you?" Xie Changshi: "That tooth of yours cost me every last cent I had, thirteen thousand yuan. You still thought it looked bad and cried until you got one made of gold instead." Rong Jing covers his mouth. Don't say another word. I believe you, okay? Xie Changshi was born into the wealthy Xie family of the capital, but he was a pitiful little thing. He was plagued by ghosts and monsters from childhood, and people picked on him, too. When he was sixteen, he was beaten half to death by thugs hired by a cousin from his clan, and that was when he awakened a System. The System told him he was the villain in a danmei novel. If he followed its orders, he could meet the novel's protagonist, the shou, ahead of time, win his affection, and reach the pinnacle of life. Xie Changshi gave a cold laugh. Faced with the unconscious protagonist and a little zombie beside him who was crying his heart out over losing a tooth, he unhesitatingly whisked the little zombie away. To Xie Changshi's surprise, the little zombie was useless at everything else but exceptionally good at fighting: Whether beating up ghosts or people. However, after only a year together, the little zombie fell into a coma because of an accident. Xie Changshi found the Taoist priest who had raised the little zombie and followed his advice: he had a coffin made for him and buried him deep underground. Twelve years later. The little zombie named Rong Jing came back to find him. Before meeting Xie Changshi, Rong Jing's dream was to eat, freeload, and wait to die. After meeting Xie Changshi, Rong Jing's dream was world peace, getting himself a rich man to cling to (specifically, Xie Changshi), and eating, freeloading, and waiting to die. #A Little Zombie Protects His Husband and Fights Monsters Every Day# Reader's Guide: 1. Lin Xu: Whatever. I'm blind anyway. But at their very first meeting, his pupils practically shook with shock. Holy crap! What happened to being disfigured? And how can someone looking so sickly be so damn alluring? After Xie Yanqing and Lin Xu got married, Xie Yanqing didn't pay much attention to his blind partner. Until one day, he appeared before Lin Xu in disheveled clothes, and Lin Xu's ears slowly turned red. Xie Yanqing: ? After that, he began observing Lin Xu without being able to help himself. To get a late-night snack, Lin Xu ran downstairs at full speed, taking four steps at a time. He eagerly joined online flame wars, his fingers blurring across the keyboard as he single-handedly held off an army. In a crowd of more than ten people, he precisely found his rival from behind and kicked him straight into the swimming pool. Xie Yanqing: Impressive. Extra Scene: On the day his rival came for revenge, Lin Xu leaned on his white cane while Xie Yanqing pushed his wheelchair. The two of them were pitifully trapped in an alley.
