A car accident, transmigration, and a golden finger. Once a month, she draws a prize, gaining a supporting female character's abilities while also facing the crises that character encountered in the original story. Du Lili, an avid reader of novels, laughed. Whether she was the wealthy heiress in a modern-day story, the genius senior sister in a cultivation novel, or a noblewoman in a historical tale, each had excellent advantages from birth. With just a little thought, overcoming the original story's challenges would be a piece of cake.
She thought she was about to reach the pinnacle of life. But...
She had transmigrated into the supporting female character of a bizarre horror novel!
Bizarre horror novels. Representative works include The Girl Boiled to Death on the Second Floor, Goodnight, Facial Boil, Tokyo Mating Humans, and The Mirror House Cases...
Du Lili's body instantly stiffened.

But she had to survive. Stay alive. No matter what, she had to stay alive.
Simply being alive has meaning.

The first time Qin Wei met Du Lili, a friend had dragged him along to chaperone a date.
"You need a chaperone for a date???" The young master of the Qin family couldn't believe it. Usually, in this sort of situation, his buddies would want him to disappear. What if the person they were dating took a liking to him? Whose fault would that be?
His friend lowered his eyes. His smiling, charming eyes always made him look hurt when they drooped. Someone nearby was already casting an accusing look at Qin Wei. He paused, recognizing this as the way his friend looked when he was on the verge of a breakdown. It was the first time Qin Wei had ever seen him like this, despite knowing him for so long.
"If my sister finds out..." His friend trailed off. "It'll be terrifying."
On the day of the date, they were at a cafe. Qin Wei sat at a table across from them, wearing a mask and a hat, and using a newspaper to hide himself. Passersby stared. From the corner of his eye, he caught a flash of silver outside the window. He turned and saw a girl raising an axe high. Its blade glinted coldly, and her shadow fell across the table where his friend sat. A waiter carrying a tray froze in the aisle.
The next second, she smashed through the display window. Glass rained down, and her axe struck the middle of the table, splitting it in two. Cake, coffee, and ice cream spilled across the floor. The man and woman who had been sitting on opposite sides tumbled to the ground. The crowd screamed and fled. Unlike the female companion beside him, who stared down as if scared witless, his friend looked up at the girl in a daze, his expression showing the same breakdown Qin Wei had seen before, as though he had expected this all along...
"Again?" he murmured, almost as if dreaming.
"Brother, stay away from that woman."
She was the very picture of fearless heroism. She planted a foot on the table and yanked her axe free, then swung it at the female companion with one hand. With the other, she grabbed his friend's collar and flung him away. A grown man flew several meters through the air before crashing into the sofa at the next table, collapsing into a heap. From a distance, he looked a lot like a rag doll.
That was the safe zone she'd chosen for him.
'I saw her kill someone with my own eyes. She hid the body in the refrigerator.'
Du Lili said this as she raised the axe in both hands, holding it upside down. The wooden handle blocked the knife her female companion threw at her. The knife struck it, leaving a notch, and bounced away.
So people really could pull off moves like that in real life... Qin Wei thought.
His face was full of awe.
