Even I, the Cult Leader, Can't Get Ashore

*Blurb provisional as of 2022.12.8

I used to be the most gifted, with the highest cultivation among my peers.

But these days, academic competition in the cultivation world is brutal.

Even as the Demon Cult's young master, I can't get into a graduate program at Swordsmanship University. And for civil service jobs in the cultivation world, a thousand people compete for each position.

My older brother is a bona fide genius. He went to the Sword Sect for his doctorate, and still can't find a job.

He's made it to shore.

I'm still at sea.

This is my eight-hundredth year.

The elders say I need to work harder, or I'll become an overage exam candidate.

The neighboring Hehuan Sect couldn't find work, so they went to wash dishes at a restaurant. They laugh at me every day for failing the graduate entrance exam for eight hundred years.

If you don't let me make it to shore soon, I'm going to destroy the world.

Theme: Cambridge, please accept me. I'm begging you.
