My Superpower Is Becoming Your Dad

Blurb provisional as of July 7, 2022 I'll start this after finishing the novel next door * Mei Liangxin is an ordinary male high school student. His father drinks too much, his mother died young, his grades are average, his family is poor, and he has a prickly personality. He hates his father because his father beats him. He hates the principal's son because the guy burns him with cigarette ends. He hates the factories on the outskirts of town because their exploitation drove his mother to her death. But there's nothing he can do. He's just a little male high school student. He steals three yuan from his father's pocket to play video games on the next street, reads comic books that other people have thrown away, and might not even get into college. His only talent is arguing with people online. He can insult someone until smoke pours from their ancestors' graves. But his father is stronger than him. The principal's son has connections. The factory owner has plenty of money. As Mei Liangxin grits his teeth and bandages his wounds, he realizes one thing: Just talking isn't going to change anything. * On Tomb-Sweeping Day, his dad goes drinking again. A bottle smashes into his head, leaving him bleeding badly. That night, he visits his mother's grave. She appears in a dream, gives him a superpower, and tells him to punish evil and promote good. Mei Liangxin wakes with a start, his head wrapped in bandages. His father sees him wake up, drops to his knees, and cries, "Dad!" He's late to class, and the principal's son pulls out a chair for him and calls him "Dad!" The principal comes to inspect the school. Looking at Mei Liangxin, he leans on his cane and weeps like a three-year-old: "Mei Liangxin, my dad!" Mei Liangxin: I'm your dad. * The male lead's superpower makes other people believe he is their father. *I'm illiterate, so you can teach me how to write. Teach me, and I'll be your dad for three days, just like the one in the blurb. Theme: Obey the law
