Tonight, You'll Come

When the little princess turned fifteen, the Kang family held a grand birthday party.

During the party, someone asked how the little princess of the Kang family got her name. The most dazzling girl in the crowd smiled gently. "On this day fifteen years ago, everything was auspicious."

That very night, terrible news arrived. The once-beloved little princess fell into an abyss in the blink of an eye.

The day she moved into the Fu household, Kang Jinyi calmly hid all her feelings. She knew she was about to live under someone else's roof.

The Fu family's only son, Fu Yeze, was naturally quiet and reserved. When he first saw Kang Jinyi, he managed a faint smile, said nothing, and merely nodded in greeting.

He didn't even spare her luggage a glance before turning and heading back to his room.

Kang Jinyi was convinced Fu Yeze was difficult to get along with and hard to deal with, so she kept her distance. But one day, in a moment of madness, she clung to his arm and refused to let go, lifting her stubborn little face. "No one loves me anymore, Kang Jinyi."

"Will you love me, Fu Yeze?"

The boy fell silent for a moment. His unfocused gaze drifted away from her, and he pushed Kang Jinyi's hand away. "You're talking nonsense."

It was the first time Kang Jinyi had ever been rejected. That night, she went a little crazy and temporarily forgot all about it.

Then, in a classroom that suddenly lost power, the crowd surged around her. Kang Jinyi, who had always been afraid of the dark, shrank into herself.

Then someone grasped her hand with unerring precision and pulled her into his arms. His voice was low. "Don't be afraid. I'm here."

Kang Jinyi heard a heartbeat pounding wildly. It wasn't coming from her.

Many years later, by chance, Fu Yeze's diary was discovered.

- When you're sober, will you still ask me that? I wonder.

- The men around her have all been "assassinated" by me.

- Oh no, I'm standing too close. She's going to figure it out.

- I have her!!!!!

No longer openly afraid of the stillness and darkness, because I know you'll come tonight, and you'll be by my side.
