After Turning Into a Cat, I Decided to Travel

This novel will enter the paid chapter program on September 15. I'll keep updating regularly afterward. The upcoming novel is below. If you like it, please add it to your collection.

Growing up in an orphanage, Yu Yu had only one wish: to have a home of her own.

So she worked hard. While everyone else complained about the 996 work schedule, she worked overtime until midnight to pay off the mortgage she had taken on at a young age. The apartment cost one million, and renovations cost another three hundred thousand. But just as she was about to move into her newly renovated home, she died from working late into the night.

When she woke up again, she had become the sickly calico cat abandoned by the unscrupulous pet shop downstairs.

She had no apartment and no money. After working herself to the bone for so long, Yu Yu spent a whole day lying in the grass downstairs, basking in the sun, and decided to go traveling.

And so, N City gained a cat that could ride the bus, while the internet gained a cat that countless online cat owners could raise from afar.

A video of Yu Yu riding the bus:

This kitty is so cute!! Such a good girl!

I'm dying, she sneaks up from a corner when she doesn't have any money, but when she finds some she boldly hops on from the side and pays her fare.

How can there be such a well-behaved kitty? Mommy wants to kiss you!!

A video of Yu Yu freeloading a meal:

That famous influencer is visiting restaurants and not paying? Send the blogger over here and I'll pay for it!

The person above is calculating so loudly I can hear it from S City!

I mean, that famous influencer eats so enthusiastically. Now I want to go too!!

After exploring every corner of N City and successfully becoming an internet-famous cat, Yu Yu decides to continue her travels in a different city!

A little plug for my upcoming novel, everyone! If you like the blurb, please add it to your collection.

Let's Become Idols to Save the World

As the first talent competition after the revival of idol auditions, Let's Become Idols has captured everyone's attention from the moment it began selecting contestants.

The moment Lin Liangyue appears on the livestream, one trainee can't help exclaiming, “What a fragile, beautiful woman! Just standing there, she looks like she might shatter any second...”

Before the others who heard her can nod in agreement, Lin Liangyue picks up the microphone and says, “I'm a little tired from waiting, but I really haven't slept!”

The moment her thick Northeastern accent comes out, everyone there except her is heartbroken.

In the production crew's pre-show interview, they ask, “What made you decide to join our program?”

Lin Liangyue answers without missing a beat, “I'm here to save the world, so I'm going to debut as an idol in the center position. Oh, and friends who want the world to end don't have to vote for me.”

“Let's all do our part to bring about the end of the world!!!”

The internet's hot takes:

[...]

[Why is she getting so fired up...]

[I've betrayed the organization, sorry, but I actually laughed when she said that.]

Who didn't dream of saving the world and becoming a great hero as a chuunibyou teenager? Lin Liangyue was no exception.

But she never expected that the fantasies from her chuunibyou days would catch up with her at twenty-five, after she had gone through five jobs and finally decided to lie flat at home and try becoming a beauty streamer.

The mission was: To save the world, debut as an idol in the center position!

Lin Liangyue: “Wait, I'm not fifteen or fifty-five. I'm twenty-five, the most useless age in a person's life.”

She gets winded just sprinting fifty meters to catch a bus. Now she's supposed to compete in an idol audition and debut in the center position too?

She closes her eyes, opens them, and finds herself dropped straight into the filming location. She decides to give up and coast.

Lin Liangyue originally thought her laid-back attitude would make fans dislike her. Who could have guessed that after the show went live, she would keep trending nonstop?

From #CoolFragileBeauty to #LinLiangyueShutUp to #LinLiangyueIs25ButHasTheBodyOfA90YearOld

There are plenty of topics about Lin Liangyue, but only #LinLiangyueShutUp keeps returning to the trending list.

Just when she thinks her career is over, she debuts.

Lin Liangyue: “...” No, I really don't understand the entertainment industry.

Theme: Enjoy life while you can.
