The Heroine and the Scholar

(A heroine just starting out in the martial world and a goofy scholar hero. When a scholar meets a heroine, he loses the argument even when he's right.)

Xiao Hongxue was the only daughter of Xiao Zhan, the leader of the martial world. She had been trained in martial arts from childhood, and at sixteen, with her father's permission, she set out to gain experience in the jianghu.

At an inn where she stopped to rest, she came across the fair-faced scholar Du Shuming, who was being assassinated. Out of a desire to uphold justice and protect the innocent, she stepped in and saved him.

That "good deed" ended up getting her into trouble, too.

Forced to travel together, they endured pursuit across the jianghu, survived countless brushes with death, and forged a bond strong enough to trust each other with their lives.

What began as brotherly affection, born of their shared commitment to justice, slowly changed into something else.

"Xue'er, will you marry me?"

Xiao Hongxue: ???
