The day Ruan Wu left, the Nanshan racetrack roared all night.

After getting out of his car, Qin Zhiyu said only one thing: "Let's leave it at that."

Later, amid the raging war along the border, Ruan Wu met an old friend.

Her friend hesitated for a long moment. "Manman, come home."

Ruan Wu stood up and waved. "I'm not coming back. Take care on your way, Brother Xiao Nan."

When they met again, Qin Zhiyu had endured seven long, lonely years. He was even more aloof and solitary than before.

At a friend's wedding, amid the crowds, Qin Zhiyu spotted her at once.

Taking advantage of the alcohol, their friend said, "For the five years we had no news of you, A Yu was barely more than a shell of a person. The prayer flags on the Sichuan-Tibet route in Aba, the wind-horse papers he scattered, and the good-luck charm I gave you, all of it was him."

Ruan Wu picked at her hands and said nothing.

Across the crowd, Qin Zhiyu watched her in silence. She wouldn't say a word about him.

*So even as the Earth keeps turning, winter solstice and Awakening of Insects will never meet again.

Unrequited love / Mutual devotion / Rekindled romance / A little melodrama / One-on-one, both leads' first love

The author is terrible at writing blurbs. This is simply a love story where, after love at first sight, one person thinks they were dumped and the other thinks they were deceived.

Flowers may wilt, people may grow dull, but a Pisces' love will never say goodbye.
