[Lovecraftian] After Inheriting an Estate, I Caught the Attention of an Evil God

When Ye Sian Chronos thought he would have to give up painting to make ends meet, an estate inherited from his grandmother's sister turned him from a penniless nobody into a wealthy man. It was a winery in a remote town. When Ye Sian set foot on its land, he felt as though he had become one with it. The rich fragrance of fine wine made him fall under its spell. As the full-bodied aroma of wine spread, Ye Sian's paintings grew ever more popular. Everyone who bought one became entranced by it and came to the town, driven by an unshakable desire to find its source. But Ye Sian gradually realized that the earth beneath his feet seemed to be alive, and that the town was shrouded in a terrifying, twisted secret. During his endless sleepless nights, Ye Sian glimpsed a pair of spectral, devilish green eyes. It seemed they had been watching him all along. Fertile, soft soil; fragrant, heady flowers flowed with thick, scarlet liquid. A still, frozen lake; blue-black, icy scales accompanied by graceful, eerie howls. A cold, dark-green forest; pure-white rabbits devoured stinking, writhing vipers. Simple townsfolk lifted golden goblets in both hands and watered deformed goats with milk. An ancient, sacred church; the priest piously and madly praised the great Old Gods at the top of his voice. At a lavish, debauched banquet, soft candlelight shone on jewels as swaying skirts fluttered. Ye Sian felt sick and terrified. He screamed and wept, trying to escape it all. Only the young man at center stage raised his pale, pointed chin, enjoying the play before him with his beastlike green eyes. "Perform for me. Amuse me, appease me, flatter me with all your might. Perhaps your pitiful begging and wagging tail will amuse me a little." He lifted his glass elegantly, looking down at the people driven to madness and despair. Endless pursuit, strange dreams bleeding into reality, and an inescapable estate like an endlessly looping Mobius strip. After dying again and again, Ye Sian found the key to fighting back. He pressed a beautiful mithril dagger to the pale young man's throat, and Ye Sian smiled in triumph. "Will you kill me?" "Of course. I'll kill you, and then kill you again and again." After burying the pale corpse in the earth, Ye Sian finally returned to a peaceful life. He became a renowned painter and, along with his fame, came to own an estate of his own. It would have been perfect, if only that insufferable green-eyed man hadn't appeared at his window every day, propped his head up with one hand, and said in his rich voice, "You haven't killed me today yet~" with clear eyes and a sweet smile! Ye Sian angrily snapped his paintbrush and splashed the rinse water out the window. "Get lost!" [Reader's Guide] 1. Cthulhu-esque themes.
