Scavenging to Raise a Tribe

Ping Shuangyu never imagined she would transmigrate one day, let alone into a primitive world where people knew nothing of civilization and ate raw meat and blood.

Her tribespeople were like Tarzan's apes, each one so simple-minded that they would not even fight back when others came to bully them.

Children and elders fought desperately against wild beasts and nature every day, yet still went hungry.

Looking at the worried expressions on their honest faces, and watching familiar people leave one by one because resources were scarce, Ping Shuangyu felt regret and remorse. If only she could give them all the things she had wasted before, could she save her people?

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, on activating the Interworld Resource Exchange System. Customer Service Agent 001 is at your service."

Interworld resource exchange? Before Ping Shuangyu could even be surprised, the phrase caught her attention.

Only when the voice in her mind spoke again did she understand: the Interworld Resource Exchange System let her collect discarded items in her original world in exchange for a certain payment, then send those items to this primitive world.

Got it. So it wanted her to go pick up trash.

But looking at her tribespeople, frail and emaciated, she gritted her teeth and signed the contract.

Out-of-fashion clothes that looked ugly? No, no, they could keep her people warm and cover their bodies.

Unappetizing coarse grains and fast food? No, no, they could fill her people's stomachs and even be used as seeds.

Last century's pottery, dismissed as worthless? No, no, it could be used to cook and store things.

All kinds of useless books that took up space? No, no, they were the foundation of her people's progress!

For the future of her tribe, Ping Shuangyu embarked on a one-way road to collecting trash.
