Coming soon: Picking Up Trash to Build a Tribe
Blurb
Wang Huaiyu transmigrated into a book. In the original story, the protagonist formed cliques for personal gain, acted arrogantly and tyrannically, treated human lives as worthless, and finally became obsessed with love, sending her entire family to the executioner's block.
After transmigrating, Wang Huaiyu immediately abandoned the original storyline. She obediently handed her military authority over to the emperor and took her family to her fiefdom in Nanman.
Nanman was poor, a byword for exile and wilderness since ancient times. Everyone said Wang Huaiyu had to be crazy to go there.
But when she saw the vast ocean, endless mountains, and fertile land, Wang Huaiyu beamed.
Gold, silver, copper, and iron lay hidden in the mountains. Pearls, salt, and fish were plentiful in the sea. The hills and marshes offered fertile soil: fish in the water, rice in the fields, silkworms at the foot of the mountains, and tea on their slopes.
Bookshops and schools sprang up everywhere, alongside convenient printing techniques and high-yield crops that produced a thousand catties per mu.
The people of the Qi Dynasty realized Nanman had changed. It was richer than Jiangnan, and its students were more capable. Everyone in Nanman had enough to eat, wore silk, ate meat, and could study.
The place they once looked down on eventually became somewhere they could only aspire to reach.
Coming soon: Picking Up Trash to Build a Tribe. My dears, please add it to your collections!
Ping Shuangyu never imagined she would transmigrate. She ended up in a primitive world where people had no civilization and ate raw meat.
Her tribe members were like Tarzan, each one so foolish that they didn't even know to fight back when people came to bully them.
The children and elderly fought beasts and the elements every day, yet still went hungry.
Looking at the familiar, honest faces weighed down with worry, and seeing one person after another leave because of scarce resources, Ping Shuangyu was filled with regret. If she could give them the things she used to waste, could she save her people?
"Ding! Congratulations, Host, on activating the Interworld Resource Exchange System. Customer Service Agent 001 is at your service."
Interworld resource exchange? Before Ping Shuangyu could even process her surprise, the phrase had already caught her attention.
When the voice in her head spoke again, Ping Shuangyu learned that the Interworld Resource Exchange System let her collect discarded items in her original world in exchange for a certain payment, then send those items to this primitive world.
Got it. So it was basically asking her to pick up trash.
But when she saw her people, emaciated and on the verge of death, Ping Shuangyu gritted her teeth and signed the contract.
Outdated, ugly clothes? No, no, no. They could keep her people covered, warm, and decent.
Unpalatable grains and fast food? No, no, no. They could fill her people's stomachs and even be used as seeds.
Unwanted pottery from the last century? No, no, no. Her people could cook in it and store things inside.
Useless books taking up space? No, no, no. They were the foundation of her people's progress!
For the future of her tribe, Ping Shuangyu set out on a path of trash collecting and never looked back.
Theme: Happiness is achieved through hard work.
Is this the end? It always feels like it's not over yet
I thought she would be an empress, but she turned out to be a county prince. . .
