[Showbiz] South Korea's Number One Worker

New Longge novel, "Forced to Work Every Day After Taking a Side Job as a Rocker in the Entertainment Industry", is updating now. Come check it out next door! Don't miss it as you pass by!

Jin Nana was a very ambitious person. Everyone thought that, as the daughter of a family of directors, she would follow in her parents' footsteps. Instead, she turned around and enrolled in the literature department next door to the directing department.

Jin Nana was also a very brave person. Armed with a book called "100 Phrases to Teach You How to Make the Most of Smida", she dared to come alone to this kimchi country and make her way in the world.

As the saying goes, to understand a country, you have to start with its culture.

So, on her first day in Korea, Jin Nana went to a concert. She couldn't remember what it was called, but she knew English, and translated, it meant: Big Bang!

--

Kwon Jiyong recognized the little applicant at a glance. As a matter of course, she became his temporary assistant.

But why was she involved in photography, video editing, script revisions, and even MV shoots?

Seriously, was their company so broke that they had to pick one person to exploit for everything?

(Dragon was confused, Dragon didn't understand, Dragon was shocked!)

After half a year of being tormented by a company full of monsters, Jin Nana decided she wasn't cut out for exorcising demons. So she waved her sleeves and walked away without looking back...

But after that, everything started to change.

She borrowed money to make a little movie, and it got nominated at Cannes.

She got bored and created a new variety show, and its ratings skyrocketed.

She casually wrote a TV drama, and it became a worldwide sensation.

Even the boyfriend she started dating was the world's biggest superstar--

Mini-scene:

At a concert,

Kwon Jiyong: She's a hardcore fan! She definitely knows the lyrics! (He confidently handed her the microphone.)

Jin Nana: Push! Push! Push! Can you stop pushing already! A is about to become a hole! (Furiously cursing at the air.)

For an instant, the air turned suffocating. But Jin Nana reacted quickly, immediately replacing the grimace on the big screen with a perfectly composed expression. She took the microphone in front of her and, in her hoarse voice, said the only Korean phrase she knew, which she spoke fluently--

Note:

1. The female lead has her own career storyline. She won't stay at YG the whole time.

2. She's not a conventional fan. She came to it halfway through, and this story was written on impulse after seeing her beloved White Moonlight shine onstage once more.

So if anything is wrong, feel free to point it out and I'll fix it! Please be gentle! Seriously!

Please, please!

Advance Preview:

Su Hao's day job is drawing boys' love comics. Not the innocent kind about sweet romance, but the kind about sweet, sweet sex.

To put it bluntly, she's an artist who draws smut, according to her big brother's spot-on roast.

(Shut up! Say that again and you can be the lead singer yourself!)

Yes, you read that right!

Due to various circumstances beyond her control, she was forced to fill in as the lead singer of the rock band her brother had put together, a band that was on the verge of breaking up.

And that one performance set the whole internet on fire, taking them from an unknown, no-name band to a third-rate band with a proper name.

She'd planned to bow out after doing her part and pass unnoticed through the world. She never expected to become famous overnight and get photographed walking past the entrance to a host club!

She thought the internet had no memory, and that if she just waited, it would all blow over.

But a few days later, someone's one-click repost sent the band, which had been about to fade from view, rocketing back to fame, and endorsement offers started pouring in.

Everyone was asking who the band's sweet yet gloomy lead singer was.

Variety Show Mini-scene:

Host: Su Hao, why are you appearing on such a serious midday news program?

Su Hao: I just happened to be passing by...

Then the video panned out, showing her smiling brightly and waving goodbye to the shop.

Host: Isn't that shop a famous host club in Japan?

Su Hao: ...Um... (She hated how clear everything looked at night!)

But there's a reason for it. I went on my brother's behalf! Creative people like them are always short on inspiration when they're writing songs. Right, GD-ssi!!!

Host: Oh my! GD-ssi too--

Kwon Jiyong: Yes...? I think...? (Uncertainly)

Theme: It's the regrets we carry that make happiness complete.
