Neon Lights and Fine Wine

A ruthless, sharp-tongued, arrogant male lead x a vain, fame-seeking, profit-driven, seductive female lead. Between them, they have eight hundred tricks up their sleeves.

The Wolf King loves the vixen.

At a TV awards ceremony, Hu Li, the hottest star in the entertainment industry, accepted an award from Lang Wang, a TV investor. Beneath the shimmering lights, she looked into his proud, indifferent eyes. The trophy passed from her hand to his, their knuckles brushing unintentionally.

Then they let go at once, and their paths never crossed again.

She was stunning, he was proud and aloof.

Netizens commented that they were a perfect match, but a rich-family divorce waiting to happen.

No one knew that in the past, they had torn into each other in the most cramped, run-down rental apartment, then fused their flesh and blood together, becoming part of each other's bodies. When they parted, they tore themselves away by the roots, leaving themselves bloody and mangled.

Once, they had clung to each other through thick and thin. Now, they had split apart in an instant.

In a world where kings never meet, I still miss you.

What am I supposed to do?

Both rotten to the core, they were made for each other.

Starting this before the New Year. Maybe it'll be complete before then. Sigh.

Warnings:

Both are each other's first and only partner. The present is the main storyline; the past follows the earlier timeline.

Both leads are rather selfish in how they deal with people, with each other as their one exception. If you have high standards for character personalities, give it a try.

Theme: Love yourself a little more, and life will become incredibly beautiful
