No split personalities in this story. The CP is the Dragon-Slaying Hero. The bottom is genuinely adored by everyone, and he has the vicious nature of a cannon fodder villain. Don't get too attached to the other characters, or you might get hurt.

The Dragon-Slaying Hero is a hopeless romantic. Even after being put through terrible torment, he still loves the bottom.

Neither protagonist has a character-growth arc.
