You Seem a Little Off, Miss Heroine

Qin Shiqing transmigrates into a wuxia novel as a supporting female character. The original owner clawed her way to the top, all to seize power and break free from the constraints of society. Yet in the end, all her efforts came to nothing. She became a wicked woman condemned by everyone, and met a miserable end.

Determined to change her fate, Qin Shiqing never would have guessed that everyone around her had a script of their own.

Script One: The male lead’s kindred spirit in a classic web-novel setting.

Ouyang Ze pushed open the doors of the tavern and saw a flash of white among the ferocious martial artists. A passage of text suddenly appeared before his eyes.

[At this moment, Ouyang Ze could never have imagined that the flash of white before him would become the only person who understood him in this life, as well as the rival who would be bound to him for the rest of their lives. To describe their entanglement as love or hate would be far too shallow. Better to say that two sincere hearts were destined to resonate.]

Script Two: The battle-scarred martyr in a rebirth story.

Su Wanrong was swept into the chaos, but fortunately Qin Shiqing saved her. She gazed enviously at that dashing figure, and an image appeared before her eyes.

[The waters of the River of Forgetfulness, the Bridge of Helplessness, the flowers on the other shore. A soul asked nearby: Why do you linger here?

Qin Shiqing’s face was weathered and weary, her eyes sorrowful and cold: My first intention in life was to break free from society’s constraints, but somehow I strayed from my path and did many wrongs. Now there are only two people I cannot let go of: my kindred spirit, Ouyang Ze, and my friend, Su Wanrong.

The soul said: I once heard that if one can cross the River of Forgetfulness without their soul being destroyed, they may have the chance to be reborn. Would you dare to try?

Qin Shiqing said nothing, but leapt from the Bridge of Helplessness.

The waters of the River of Forgetfulness were ice-cold, as if a thousand arrows pierced the soul.]

Script Three: The heroine of a story where everyone falls for her.

Shen Yu stood atop the city wall and looked down. His eyes met a pair of beautiful eyes, and fireworks exploded in his mind: dazzling starlight, love at first sight. Then he saw a passage of text.

[Since ancient times, beautiful women have been blamed for bringing ruin. A beauty may make a hero bend the knee, but Qin Shiqing is no pretty vase who simply drifts along with the story.

She is a red spider lily on the banks of the River of Forgetfulness, and a tiger waiting to shatter this world. Countless people are fooled by her beautiful appearance, but a tiger will never become a house cat. No one can blunt her claws. Those who fall in love with her are doomed to suffer.]

Qin Shiqing, who has gained all sorts of complicated character roles in other people’s eyes: I think there’s something wrong with this world.

The friends with their own scripts: We think there’s something wrong with you.

Pairing undecided.

Theme: Have a goal and work tirelessly toward it
