I Just Went a Little Crazy, That's All

This story has issues and will undergo major revisions.

Earth has been occupied by aliens, who randomly select humans to participate in a documentary-style livestream called CCB Presents: The Real Earth, sending their consciousness into a lower-dimensional world.

It's a reality show that uses the real world as its stage and treats Earthlings like "lower animals," to be mocked and entertained at will.

In the new season, Gu Yin, a patient in Bed 2 of Room 404 at Binhai City Psychiatric Hospital, is one of the lucky people chosen.

Gu Yin discovers that her condition has gotten worse.

She can now hallucinate an entire real world!

Few people can escape the mire of one carefully engineered setback after another. Again and again, they put on a show of "Earthlings really are trash," and so--

A girl kidnapped and taken deep into the mountains turns the tables and gets her trafficker arrested. She takes the college entrance exam again and becomes a brilliant physicist;

The heroine in an old-school domineering-CEO novel, who miscarries and has her eyes gouged out, dumps the garbage man, stands on her own two feet, and builds a business empire;

A human city called Oasis is established in a world where demons run rampant and human lives are worth less than grass;

In a brutal infinite-flow world, she kills the mastermind and becomes the nightmare that the evil spirits and ghost stories can't escape.

The alien invaders issue a global wanted notice, desperately searching for the owner of this consciousness.

The resistance on Earth vows to find her before the invaders, no matter the cost.

Meanwhile, Gu Yin is lying in her hospital bed, legs crossed, enjoying the air conditioning, completely unaware: Thanks for asking. I just went a little crazy, that's all.

Notes:

1. The female lead isn't entirely ill. There are clues hinting at this.

2. The female lead is pretty outrageous. Outrageous people do outrageous things.
