Du Miaomiao transmigrated into a CEO novel that packed in every old-school melodramatic trope.
Along with Ergou.
Ergou isn't a dog. He's a person.
But in a certain sense, he really is a dog.
Both Du Miaomiao and Ergou have a System.
The System tells them to collect each other's affection points. Every ten points gives them one chance to change the original plot.
But each time, they can only change one character.
Du Miaomiao and Ergou looked at each other, both their eyes full of murderous intent.
Just you wait. I'll make sure you're done for.

In the book, Du Miaomiao is a delicate little white lotus who gets tormented by the CEO five hundred times and still loves him desperately. Ergou is the domineering CEO in the classic story where she runs, he chases, and she can't escape.
In real life, Du Miaomiao and Ergou have been talking smack to each other since they were babies, making them childhood friends in name only.
The moment one of them opens their mouth, the other can guess what they're about to say without even listening.
Du Miaomiao was determined to strike first. She gave him sneakers, a PS5, and limited-edition figurines. Ergou, who would be a boy at heart until the day he died, couldn't keep up and lost the first point.
Ignoring Ergou's despairing gaze, Du Miaomiao picked up her pen and made a small stroke.
"The CEO is relentlessly pursued by his assistant"

"The CEO is relentlessly hunted by his assistant"
The moment she finished writing, Ergou was chased away step by step by his newly hired male assistant. Before disappearing, he left behind a distant roar:
"Du Miaomiao, I'll be back!!"

Three weeks later, Ergou made a dramatic comeback and came up with a whole series of revenge plans.
He gave her gold, cars, and cash. Du Miaomiao was so dazzled by money that she let her guard down and lost a point too.
Ergou viciously added a character to the original text.
"Du Miaomiao has a faint fragrance about her"
↓
"Du Miaomiao has a faint cilantro smell about her"
Cilantro-hating Du Miaomiao flew into a rage. Gagging, she stubbornly grabbed a stick and chased Ergou down to kill him.

That's how the two of them went back and forth, winning one round apiece on average.
But in one of every two victories, the winner had been forced at swordpoint to change the original text back.
This time, though, Ergou won, yet he modestly said he'd save it for next time.
After saving up two chances, he picked up his pen.
"Woman, I advise you not to play with fire"

"Woman, I advise you to come play with me"
Du Miaomiao looked at him with disgust, but her hand reached out against her will...
