Crossing the Sea

[The cool yet gentle doctor Shen Chixu x the refined second son of the wealthy Fu family, Fu Liansheng]

[One is as indifferent as a deep, icy sea, the other as passionate as molten lava. A healing romance, with ice and fire colliding.]

Shen Chixu remembered her first meeting with Fu Liansheng. She was captivated by this gentleman, whose features were exceptionally handsome and whose brows and eyes were strikingly clear. But the loosened tie at his neck and the smell of alcohol around him made it clear he was completely out of place in the hospital. She didn't look at him for long, turning away in time, and failed to notice that his eyes, too, had rippled with distraction when he saw her.

The Fu Group, a well-known company in Haizhou, had partnered with the city hospital on a project. The Fu family's second son, who had recently returned from abroad, took charge. His past soon became a hot topic in the media, and a favorite subject of conversation over tea. Rumor had it that the new boss was gentle and easygoing, while others said he was cold and aloof, impossible to approach.

But the Fu family's second son whom Dr. Shen Chixu came to know seemed rather different from the man in the rumors. All she knew was that he would park near the hospital and wait for ages just to drive her home after work, all for a journey that wasn't even very long.

Mr. Fu was domineering, but gentle in his approach. He tried every way he could to win her over, but Dr. Shen seemed unmoved and uncaring. He couldn't read her or guess what she was thinking, and still hadn't gotten an answer.

Second Young Master Fu: Dr. Shen, may I pursue you?

Dr. Shen: Mr. Fu, please keep your distance.

Shen Chixu: "I love the moon more than I love you."

Fu Liansheng: "I love the moon, but I love you more."

"At the end of a long day / I stand before you / You will see my scars / And know that I was wounded / And healed."

"If you love me, I will give you all the passion I have."
