Even Betas Can Be Coveted

Chen Mu was an utterly ordinary Beta.

Just like his name suggests, he was dull, quiet, and honest.

Like a rabbit, even when he was bullied too much, all he could do was glare with reddened eyes and silently protest.

This inconspicuous Beta was relentlessly pursued by one of those so-called chosen ones.

Everyone marveled at how lucky Chen Mu was.

Only Chen Mu knew how wicked that person really was.

As a top-tier Alpha, Yan Si had countless little omegas and betas around him. Even some alphas with unusual tastes would come flocking. Yet somehow, he set his sights on a Beta who was as wooden as they come.

They fought and argued, but in the end, he got Chen Mu, and they even had a child.

The only thing he never got was Chen Mu's love.

In short, it's an old-school story: he runs, he chases, and he can't get away!
