Song Miao was never quite right from a young age. He had no sense of morality or discipline, and did whatever he pleased.
After starting college, he fell in love at first sight with an older student in his department. Socially awkward and gloomy, he chose the worst possible way to pursue him: by becoming a stalker.
He worked two part-time jobs every day, ate expired rice balls, and saved up enough to rent the apartment across from his crush's.
At night, he crouched in a shadowy corner, clutching a water bottle his crush had drunk from and watching his shadow on the curtains.
In public, Song Miao played the sweet, innocent type, acting like his crush's friendly, well-mannered classmate.
In private, he could even calculate exactly how many times his crush showered each day by watching the bathroom light.
Mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; evenings on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; a soak in the tub on Sundays.
He happily played the part of a model pervert until one day his crush brought home two kittens.
Through his binoculars, Song Miao saw the two cats asleep on his crush's bare chest.
He was consumed by jealousy.
If only he were a cat.
He wouldn't have to scheme and plan everything. He could just leap into his crush's arms, and his crush would pat his head and gently call him, "Meow-meow."
--
Song Miao's wish came true. He really did turn into a cat.
Overjoyed, he stopped his crush and stammered out a tiny "Meow."
A University's most dedicated stalker finally succeeded in sneaking into his crush's home one summer, in the form of a cat.

Gu Chao had a rather silly junior.
One day, he saw that the junior who often hid in corners to spy on him had suddenly sprouted two white cat ears on his head.
They twitched adorably.
That evening, on his way home, Gu Chao came across a little black-and-white kitten.
The kitten was soft and docile, and its foolish antics were exactly like those of his perverted junior.
Gu Chao studied the kitten for three seconds, then smiled. "I'll call you Miao Miao."
--
No one can resist a naughty kitty.

A few notes:
1. Neither lead is normal, and neither has a normal moral compass.
2. There is separation in both the past and present. If you encounter a stalker, run. This story does not endorse violating anyone's safety.
3. The characters' values do not represent the author's.
4. If this makes you uncomfortable, please stop reading. Don't force yourself to read something you dislike. (Bows apologetically.)
5. That's probably it. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Wow, what a ghost Gong, I feel very controlling. Jie Jie Jie
[Covering face and laughing] The roommates are so cute, they have a house-invasion-robbery-like camaraderie.
Second-hand ones cost 70!! Miaomiao, have you been cheated? [Hold your chin]
