Detective Conan Life Simulator [Gin]

(The author's profile has a series featuring Ueno Makoto x Gin. If any lovely readers are interested, please check it out. Thank you! ❤)

Ueno Makoto found a game console containing one and only one game: the shameless Detective Conan Life Simulator.

Why call it shameless...? Every time Ueno Makoto randomized an identity and started playing, he either got hit by a car while walking down the street, was poisoned while eating, or even got blown up at home when he stayed in and lounged around!

How was this a life simulator? It was clearly a death simulator, letting players randomly experience all sorts of ways to die!

It was utterly shameless.

So why did Ueno Makoto keep playing such a shameless game...? For one thing, the more experience he gained, the less likely he was to die. For another, he'd found himself a wife in the game.

His wife was a wonderful person, beautiful and kind, and she loved Ueno Makoto dearly.

Everything was wonderful.

Ueno Makoto was living a happy life.

Until his wife suddenly died without warning.
