The TNE team is a famous runner-up in the LPL, having placed second in both the Spring and Summer Splits for three consecutive years.

In S6, they finally made it to the deciding game of the best-of-five Grand Final. Support player Chen Jing's botched team engage led to the whole team being wiped out. Not only did TNE once again finish in second place, but the LPL, which had never won a championship, missed out on its closest chance yet.

Everyone blamed the support, gave him insulting nicknames, and mocked him for playing professionally for five years yet only ever using the same three champions: Braum, Nautilus, and Tahm Kench. They said his champion pool was shallower than a spoon.

After the World Championship ended, the mid and jungle players retired, and the AD carry left. Everyone said TNE was doomed.

But once their new AD carry arrived, TNE shook off its slump and swept up every championship that year, unstoppable.

The new AD, who had been named FMVP, gave an interview.

Reporter: Following, what do you think was the biggest reason you won this championship?

New AD: Jing-ge is a great teacher.

Reporter: Besides your teammates and the team's staff, is there anyone else you'd like to thank?

New AD: Vast, since I wouldn't be where I am today if he hadn't left TNE of his own accord.

Reporter: Is there anything you'd like to say to him?

New AD: I want to tell him that Jing-ge is mine now.

After the interview came out, the whole internet congratulated TNE support Chen Jing on finding a "second spring."

That evening, Chen Jing started a livestream, and the comments flooded in, asking him to respond to the "second spring" remark.

The handsome man with the cool voice calmly replied:

"Let me clear up a rumor. It's not my second spring."

"It's my first."
