Get a Grip, You're the Substitute

Everyone in their circle knew that the recipient loved the giver desperately.

He was even willing to be a stand-in for the giver's unattainable movie-star crush, the recipient's own unreachable moonlight. He was so willing that he put aside his pride as the heir to an elite family and entered show business, all so he could imitate the giver's crush more convincingly.

Everyone sighed that the recipient was probably the most dedicated stand-in in the world.

Even the giver felt a faint pang of guilt and silently resolved to treat this stand-in a little better.

Until...

An up-and-coming director returned from abroad. The recipient abruptly dropped out of a variety show halfway through filming and rushed to join the director's production crew.

Then, in an interview afterward, he openly said, "XX was my senior at university. I entered show business purely to follow in his footsteps."

The giver: "???"

Worse, he discovered that the director looked about thirty percent like him...

So who the hell is whose stand-in?!

Theme: People should know their place.
