[Qing Transmigration] A Slacker's Plan to Lie Flat

Wang Tiantian never imagined that an ordinary office drone like her would transmigrate into the body of Kangxi's Consort Ping. Historically, Consort Ping was the younger sister of Kangxi's beloved Empress Heseri. After the empress passed away, the Heseri family sent the ten-year-old Consort Ping into the palace to maintain their ties to the imperial harem. Consort Ping had always hoped to become empress like her sister, but she never got her wish, dying at just twenty-six.

Wang Tiantian never expected to get such a good deal. At just ten years old in this life, she could already enjoy a carefree retirement. Consort Ping wasn't favored, but because her sister was Empress Heseri, no one in the harem dared mistreat her. Though she was never formally titled a consort, she was always given the same treatment as one.

Other than being unable to leave the palace, Consort Ping had everything this office drone could ever dream of: no 996 work schedule, no 227 overtime, no frantic rush to squeeze onto the subway, and no dealing with an idiot boss or difficult clients. She also had beautiful clothes, lovely jewelry, more money than she could spend, and people to wait on her. She could happily be a little good-for-nothing and grow old in the palace.

Until she realized Kangxi had indecent thoughts about her. That made her furious. When she noticed the crown prince courting disaster and saw Kangxi forgive him because of his feelings for her late elder sister, she began her own campaign of courting disaster, as another keepsake of that same sister...

Kangxi: "A woman's life is incomplete if she doesn't have children."

Wang Tiantian: "Why should I want a complete life?"

Kangxi: "Wouldn't you regret having an incomplete life?"

Wang Tiantian: "Why would I regret it? I won't have to risk dying in childbirth, worry about raising children, or fear they'll turn bad when they grow up. If I had a son, I'd have to find him a wife who might bully me as her mother-in-law. If I had a daughter, some playboy might sweet-talk her away. I only need to live happily, dress up beautifully every day, and have no worries."

Kangxi: "..."
