When Jia She Gets a Guardian Spirit [Dream of the Red Chamber]

When Jia She was five, he discovered that after recovering from an illness, something had appeared behind him. He cried and threw tantrums, but his family thought he was possessed and made him drink dozens of bowls of talisman water.

After that, he came to understand: there was nothing evil about it. This was his very own immortal teacher, not some unclean spirit.

Jia She: Sir, can you touch the top of my head too and grant me immortality?

Li Xi saw the line from Li Bai's poem in Jia She's book, "An immortal strokes my head and ties up my hair, granting me eternal life," and gave him a sound beating.

Li Xi: How many times have I told you? We have to believe in science, believe in science!

Dodging Li Xi's fists, Jia She protested, "Then explain your current situation scientifically, sir."

Li Xi: This is called a neutrino.

Jia She: Sir, this ring is for you.

Li Xi: I'm a man.

Jia She: Sir, didn't you say true love has nothing to do with gender?

Li Xi's face turned green, and he gave him another sound beating. "I'm straight, and I'm your teacher. You unfilial traitor, prepare to die!"
