[Dream of the Red Chamber] The Lady Is Fiercer Than a Tiger

VIP Subscription Announcement: Starts VIP chapters on 2024-1-3. Three chapters will be released that day! Suppose you are a nation's holy maiden, and your country loses a war. As its holy maiden, you are married off to another country to secure peace. Once there, do you make yourself meek and submissive, or do you take charge? Sang Zi says women hold the highest status in Southern Xinjiang, and she won't put up with even a little of that. On the second day after arriving, Sang Zi serves tea to her parents-in-law and boldly declares, "From now on, I am the mistress of this household. Everything will be done my way." Jia She: "A woman shouldn't be so jealous. What's wrong with me taking two concubines? Don't you have any of the virtues a woman should possess?" Sang Zi: "What's that? Can you eat it? In Southern Xinjiang, women hold the highest status. Men are supposed to serve their wives properly. If they dare to flirt around, they'll pay for it. Guards, bring out the family law!" Lady Jia: "Outrageous, outrageous! Serving your mother-in-law is a daughter-in-law's duty." Sang Zi: "What are all these maids here for, to decorate the place? The mistress shouldn't have to do things herself. I'll dismiss all these maids, then personally serve Mother-in-law from now on." Looking at the chaos in the Jia household, Sang Zi says, I'm no delicate young lady. We Southern Xinjiang girls have plenty of strength and ways to get things done. Theme: Life is always full of unexpected surprises
